I started playing league in the middle of season 9. Yeah, I'm still new to this game and learning.
The first champion I got was Ahri (I'm a fan of naruto so obviously the nine tail cute girl was my choice). I bought Nocturne 1 week after. I saw his Ultimate skill. It instantly killed the enemy in the preview so I thought "WOOOW THAT'S AWWWSOME". Well, it didn't killed my enemies instantly :\ I wasn't disappointed though. I liked and like him a lot as my first favorite champion in League. He was my favorite for a long long time until I met this beautiful Angel named, "Kayle". She's my favorite now.
Well... Nami... The reason I like her is because I like mermaids :/ it started from when I found drawing feet hard. I like drawing and I HATE drawing feet...
Let's start it :)

• Has good Mobility and can applies it allies as well
• Has AoE CCs
• Hard to counter (a safe pick)
• Can Poke
• Good outplay potential
• not so hard

This runes is the best for Nami because of the shield it gives and its damage. It's shield scales well and makes your W more usefull. Heal+shield. And you can use its shield with your E as well so it can be a good help. Even that little amount of shield can be a life saver. The problem with is that enemies can dodge it easily. That's why even some mages are running (like Malzahar). And I don't really think that can be useful on Nami (the other 2 runes can be more beneficial)

Nami it's the best choice here because of the sustain it gives.

You can also pick if you prefer even more MS but is the best choice her. It can also give nice amount of damage when you exceed to the maximum CDR

You have a good early game and with this you can poke your enemies. You can also try if you prefer later game damage and going for the CDR build with

"1-10% CDR" works well with "Transcendence" for later game damage and max CDR but choose "9 Adaptive damage" if you think you can use its early game benefits. Choose the last one dependent on your enemy's damage type.

There's no team without any CC. (Unless they're troling or playing ONE FOR ALL xD). This Item can save you or your ADC. It's a great last item because of its buffs bet I suggest getting it faster if you feel like you're gonna have problems game.

Nami is squishy so this Item can help you survive against assassins like Zed or skills like Veigar's ultimate. And it gives nice outplay potential.

• Try to use your W when you can use both of its effects. Heal an ally or yourself and damage an enemy.
• Q can be hard to land so try to predict the enemy actions. And it's AoE so you can hit 2 birds with one shot. (Don't hit the birds though :/)
• Don't waste your mana. Q can be hard to land so poking with W is a better early game choice. however, it drains so much mana...
• Don't waste you Ultimate. It can be a great help in teamfights.
• Buy Items dependent on what you need now. Don't just follow builds you see on the web. Items you take and when you take them are dependent on how your game is going on.
