I wouldn't get rylai's mainly because of the underusage of the ap

Disagree with the Quints of Armor and also with the Con that he has no real gap closers, he got his Powerball and it works fine.

Good guide overall ^^ Personally flash is a must have because of the minions that could get in your way, and going around them takes too much time, causing the gank to fail :P ( UP VOTED )

Check out my guide below if you want :P Would appreciate it ^^

Just change it to Flash, problem solved. The hell it is personal opinion. Rammus lacks a wall jump anyway.

Then Lagger, I would disagree and say that no matter what it is a personal decision. That being said, I have a personal preference for Flash myself and if there appears to be more weight for ghost in the guide, this was a mistake as I was trying to level the field so people would see that ghost is as viable as flash but not as powerful. Also the 80 ap from rylai's coverts to 192 base damage on his ultimate which only has a cooldown of 60 seconds so there is almost no point lategame that you are without it.

@woodycoconut: The health you get from Rylai's isn't the only reason its viable. The viability of it comes from the overall combination of its slowing effect, health, and AP

@regicidal: I'm not sure if that is to be taken as a compliment, insult or an observation(hecarim) and I'm not really seeing how he has a lot of gapclosing potential. No matter how fast he goes he is still running up into your team, albeit it is a little better with Flash, and with the increased presence of snares, stuns, ranged knock backs, extreme slows, and hard cc in general his initiation is still a little lackluster compared to Hecarim, Amumu, or Malphite

You see. Rammus with Ghost feels like a Hecarim gank. But as Lagger said, Powerball Flash is so strong ghost just falls behind. Now as for Rylai's Crystal Scepter, it is a viable pick to completely nullify someone's chances of getting away. But Rammus has so much gap closing potential that it just isn't an effective late-game item.

Nonono what if I told you Flash is not a personal preference and only noobs take Ghost because it is clearly the inferior option. Because Powerball + Flash = OP.

As for Rylai's, it's cost-ineffective and Rammus doesn't scale hard enough with AP to warrant building it (i.e. he is useless when his ult is on cooldown).

Wut.

Also, I agree with Laggermeister on Rylai's, it's mainly AP casters, not for rammus.
There are much better options for health such as Warmogs.

@ Laggermeister: ok, was going more on theory with the glyphs so that was understandable, Flash vs ghost really come down to preference I would think and can you please explain your reasoning behind rylai's? Used it in a few games and it worked to do what I said it would in the guide.

@ regicidal: more ellaboration please? I want to improve the guide but just saying you agree with Laggermeister without stating what part you agree with won't give me the opportunity to explain any confusion
