There is 2 builds as you can see. Build one is Tank Renekton. Build 2 is Damage Renekton (my favorite). Please don't downvote before you read.

I am putting this into the introduction cause I don't want this skipped over.

Do Not Ult until the fight gets into it or less than two fifths of your Hit points are gone! If you start out a team fight ulted you are not only wasting ult time but they will most likely run away from you due to the damage you do!

I ult when they are on top of me and its time to do major damage or I am tanking them like a boss.

Exhaust is by far the best summoner spell for Renekton simply due to the power behind crippling the enemy for you to kill.

Ignite give a nice little push to get the kill and helps against heave regenerating champions like Warwick.

For Runes I simply get straight armor and magic resist for early lane domination, with the armor pen marks and quins for early, mid, and sometimes late armor shread.

Now most people would be like WTF spec ignite? DOWNVOTE. Well the explaination is simple. Your ult aoe scales on ability power, with the ignite spec and your ignite on cooldown most of the time it makes it into a powerful sunfire cape. I don't get anything with crit due to renek's abilities make him feared not his auto attack. So putting it more toward the ult aoe just help so much in team fights (and sometimes solo fights).

I can't stress this enough. Last hitting not only gives you lane control but keeps them close so that you can charge , stun, Q, charge back for easy harassment.

I grab my stun first, btw 50 rage + stun 3 hit is basicly a free kill early till level 3.

I then grab my Q for some harassment and aoe + the little bit of extra damage never hurts anyone but them.

And your E at level 3 for dive harassment.


I max Q first due to it over all helps more. Then maxing E cause it does do a nice chunk of damage. Then the W cause you can.

Ok here is the big one.

<OVERALL STARTING ITEMS>

First I start with a shield due to it making my lane survival crazy and I can stay in lane for a very long time.

Ion Boots. Cooldown reductions FTW on renek. This makes him dangerous. I usually get these ASAP.

Brutalizer. That item is your damage and you power. Get it, love it, don't break up with it till you have the rest of the build done. Then you get the sexier Ghostblade.

<BUILD ONE (THE TANK)>

I get the Trifecta of defense. Belt, Negatron, Chain Mail. This makes you one tanky MOFO.

After words I get the Sunfire cloak, this + your ult = hella AOE damage.

Then building into a Force of Nature for defense and the health regen is amazing with your Ult.

Then a Guardian Angel for the lawls. (Can be subed out for a warmogs but I find GA more useful).

<BUILD 2 (SLAP CHOP)>

Grabbing the belt to survive and make you with stand more damage.

The Atma's plus all the Hit Points you have makes your Attack Damage go through the roof. By the way your ult gives you more hp which means Atma's gives you more damage.

And to put the cherry on top build into a warmogs for MORE DAMAGE! and have MORE HP!

Now after all that I grab some Life steal then build it into a bloodthirster.

So with this build you become a fat AD pain train.

I find Wukong being one of the best lane partners to have. Why? Cause of his own charge + yours to get in their face. Your stun + his Q makes them have 0 armor. then your Q and BAM an Enemy has been slain!

Other than that anything with a charge that can be timed with yours or a Jax is amazing to lane with.
