Riven is in my opinion the most fun champien ever to play. She can take som damage, she can do amazing damage, she has high mobility and cc. Jumping and fighting is the only thing you'll do.

Summary

I play Riven as a Tanky DPS fighter. You'll be doing ALOT of damage while taking some aswell. Riven has very nice mobility with her E and Q. I mostly E to dodge skillshots such as Lux's. Mobility also gives her a very good chasing. In teamfights , Riven has very nice cc with her W and her Pushback from Q.

Early Game

Riven has really good damage in Early-Game with her Q ability, Broken wings. Press Q, Attack, Q, Attack and then a final Q and a attack. This combo can sometimes do more then then half of your opponents hp, and since you dash forward when you press Q you can chase your enemies very well.

Remember to ALWAYS use your ulti in beggining of fights sicne you the AD buff is Crucial.

Runes

For runes, I take ArP Marks and Quints. The Quints can be changed to Hp regen if you feel for more laning advantage, but I like ArP for the Extra damage.

For Seals I take Armor and for Glyphs I take Magic resist per level. Flat armor in the beggining makes you less squishy and the magic resist comes in handy in the Mid-End game when you need it as most.

Items

For items, I start with a Dorans shield which gives you great survival in early-game. Next up is merc treads for the Tenacity. Next up is Avarice blade for the gold and Yomuu's. Then I start building Wriggles. Wriggles is a very good item if you use it right. It has a 3 minute free ward which you can setup, Lifesteal, more Armor and a little bit of damage. Next up is Yomuu's. Yomuu's gives extra ArP and is a MUST for your burst. The extra movement- and attackspeed lets you attack between each one of your skills which gives the most out of your passive. Next up depends. If you feel squishy you can start with Phage, but if you have a nice chunk of kills then rushing infinity edge is better in my opinion.

The end-game items are Atmas impaler, Frozen Mallet and last up you replace wriggles for a Bloodthirster. Atmas impaler gives you Armor, Crit and nice Damage. It also scales with your next item, which is Frozen Mallet. Frozen mallet is really good for any fighter. It gives you damage, Hp and Slow all enemies you hit, which is crucial when you are chasing someone down.

Why I do not pick Trinity force

Many people think that Trinity force is a must item for Riven. I don't.
First of, sheen is good for Riven. But building whole Trinity force for sheen is not worth it since you get many things you don't need. Such as Ability Power, Mana and Attackspeed. You get the slow from Frozen mallet which also gives a nice bit of Hp.
