Welcome to "Riveting Riven"! This build is a build which I find to be effective and thought that I should share with everyone. It is partially inspired by other Riven guides but mine has a couple of differences which I feel improve her effectiveness. This guide is meant for players who know how to play riven already since other guides have already shown very good tutorials on Riven taking her strengths and weaknesses into account.

This guide only concentrates on Summoners Rift games.

For runes I take Flat attack Damage Runes and Marks along with flat armor Seals and flat magic resist Gylphs. Flat damage helps riven a lot since it benefits all of her attacks. It makes it easier to lats hit mobs which gives a lot of money. The Armor and Magic Resist help her survive early game.

I take basic masteries, making sure to avoid attack speed since it doesn't benefit Riven as much as other champions such as Xin Zhao who thrive with attack speed.

My items start with Vampiric Scepter in order to help build a lantern later in the game. Mercury Treads are a must but if there is little CC on the opposing team then investin Ionian Treads. Pick the Wriggle and farm like hell. Once Warmogs is attained pick up some kills to buff it up along with a banshees for extra Magic Resist. Atma's Impaler makes it so that Riven becomes stronger with each kill she attains which snowballs quickly.

For my skill sequence I max Ki Burst first for the amazing damage, but if you are having a hard time staying alive then max Valor first. Make sure to max Broken Wings last since the other two are more important.

Standard Summoner Spells should be used. Flash is necessary on any champ. Exhaust is not a must, ghost also works just as well. Just make sure it is something with some use not like empower or heal.
