Hi my name is...RUMBLE! THE MECHANIZED GENTLEMEN!
Pros / Cons
Pro:
Strong Damage
Can Gank Effectivley
Has a 4 second cool down shield.
Can drastically increase his combat effectiveness while fighting
Con:
Unreliable minion farming
Easily Focused
Cannot gank without rylai's
Squishy till mid game
Magic is one of rumbles weaknesses as a cqc champion, with the aid of the glyphs of warding, and the quints of shielding this negates some, but not all of his early game weakness. The Seals of Resilience will save your skin, certain melee champions eat rumble early game, these prevent it from being a certain death situation.
These following champions should be treated with caution in early game, if you see both of them in lane, it may be better to switch lanes, or stay out of their range.
Xin Zhao
Maoki
Garen
Cho'gath*
Swain
Mordekaiser*
Annie
* Depending on their laning partner these guys will wreck you, here are some examples.
Cho'gath, if he is with a burst damage character, or Garen/Mordekaiser do not get close to them, you will wind up feeding them, this does not apply to mid game as much when you should have giants belt and heart of gold. Their are other champions that will chew you up and spit you back out early game, but these will be your main predator.
Laning Partners To Covet
These are the dudes you want to be in your lane partner if you get the chance
Eveleyn
Mordekaiser
Teemo
Miss Fortune
Ashe
Renekton
Remember, these are from my experiences with rumble, you may find that you are capable of fighting off a ChoGaren combo, you may find my suggested laning partners don't help you as much as they do me.

Some of you may or may not noticed by now, but this build is incredibly expensive to put into action, but there are 3 key items that make it so you can afford the rest and all will be explained
Cloth Armor and Hp pots V Doran's Shield
That extra 120 health is awesome, as well as the bonus armor, but rumble gets beat on like a pair of bongos, i have found it to be much more effective to carry 1000 pocket health and have 18 armor. also this cloth armor will be turned into our omen.
Rylai's Scepter of Awesome
This item is what makes rumble effective, and is required to make your ganks work, as it puts a slow on your slow, so you can slow while you slow, ya dig? I Buy my rylais in this specific order Giant's Belt, Blasting Rod, Book. If you can't afford the Giant's Belt by time your level 6 it could hurt you.
Treads: You do not want to be CC'd out of a team fight, you want to be in their doing damage.
Making Omen:
When you begin to craft your omen, you can buy either wardens or HoG first, it is really up to you, I prefer to get wardens first as it gives you extra armor and regen and its passive will help you. After you crafted omen you should be around level 10 or 12.
Making the Gunblade:
If you haven't realized that rumble also punches, than you should punch your self, making the revolver first will give you that 40 Ap and the spell vamp, with this your Flamespitter will heal you for a little bit as well, which is not a bad thing, but were mostly using it to achieve the Gunblade. Cutlass can be a time consuming item to make, as a result you will need to be ganking and farming when you can in order to craft it.
Why Make a Gunblade at all, some of you might say, lets face it, rumbles main dps is flame spitter, and is worthless if your not punching them as well, this gives you both vamps, and more ap and ad, you will find at this point your enemy will be struggling to survive an encounter with you. By time you've completed it you'll be in between 15 and 18
Guardian Angel: Simply put you will become neigh invincible
The Last Item: We have 3 options here, if your fighting a heavy magic team, banshees is for you, if its a heavy AD team sun fire cloak, if you find yourself amongst a well mixed team Force of nature is the way to go.
