Threats & Synergies
Mobility is too strong. He closes the gap and wont let you leave.
Too Much Gap Close and poke power.
Your W negates his E and tears down his walls. EZ PZ
His Passive negates your E and R. Sacrifice one so the other works. Learn to navigate around his passive and he is easy work.
She can Riposte your E and R. If she Riposte your E then you are stunned and she can stack her passive and wreck you with damage.
He can Activate his R while your Reeling him in to the grinder. Learn to navigate around his ult and let it run out then kill and hes easy work.
if he ever gets his passive rolling, his damage is deceptively strong and he will shred you. learn his CD's and don't let him get his passive and he's easy work.
Illaoi isnt hard if you keep minions between you and her. She cant steal your soul if it keeps hitting minions. Learn to avoid this ability and don't fight her when she ults and shes easy work.
Cho isn't extremely strong he just has a undervalued poke power. If you dont pay attention to the engage you will be left with low health in fear of a execute. Learn to dodge his Q and W and your golden.
Run From Big Gnar, Dodge his Boomerang and he's Easy work.
If you play against a Bad player...EZ. Play against someone that knows the champs...this matchup sucks. Dont fight in her zone and dont try to fight in melee when her passive is already stacked.
EZ early game. if he gets a couple kills under his belt play passive until you get black cleaver.
He can use his Bellow to ground himself negating your E. His bellow will brittle you and his next auto will chunk your health. Avoid his charge and bellow and hes easy work.
Run from him when he ults and he's easy. don't cast your ult if he ults and don't get his by his Axe Throw.
Volibear is Broken. Stay back when his passive is rolling. Dont try to fight him under your turret if his ult is up. GL HF
Champion Build Guide
I decided to make this guide because I feel I have a strong understanding of top lane and can bring some information to those trying to excel their top lane game. Urgot was one of my favorite champs to play and I have really grown to enjoy his play style.
I will do my best to inform teach you everything i have learned along my way playing urgot and i hope i can teach you something you didnt already know.
Urgots Shotguns on his legs shoot targets and refresh over time. The higher level you are the faster they refresh.
Q - Corrosive Charge
Corrosive Charge is your only "ranged" attack that is used to mark the champion(more on that later) and to slow a champion. This is very good for getting cannon minions if your unable to walk up to them. If you play against a ranged champ this ability does a good amount of poke damage
W - Purge
This is your Bread and Butter. This ability is what defines urgot. The more Health you have the harder your shotguns when circling a champion. Because of this its extremely important to scale your health stat.
E - Disdain
Disdain is your Dash/Throw/Stun ability. When you Dash, you gain a shield; If you connect with a target, they are then thrown over your shoulder and stunned for a short duration. During this duration you can immediately activate your Purge and walk around the target allowing shotguns to melt. This can also be used as an escape mechanism.
R - Fear Beyond Death
This Is Urgots Skill Shot Execute and what makes him so versatile against a plethora of champions. This is on a fairly short cooldown and isnt too extremely hard to land due to the range because a lot of people back under turrets *wink wink*
Triumph - Ever Time No Matter What
Legend:Tenacity - More times than not. Good against CC
Legend:Bloodline - Use this if the enemy team doesnt have a lot of CC.
Last Stand - Because we will draw much attention, We will be attacked from low health more times than not.
Resolve - Secondary
Demolish - Great for split Pushing and dominating your lane.
OverGrowth - Because our shotguns scale off health. This tends to be more efficient than going Second Wind or Boneplating.
6 Bonus Armor - Use when your up against AD Lane/Team
8 Magic Resist - Use when your up against AP Lane/Team
Teleport - Even with the recent changes to teleport. This run is still super effective in maintaining map control and staying ahead of the other team.
Ignite - If your in a lane with someone you know you can bully or a champ that has a lot of healing. Take ignite. if you cant Guarantee 2-3 Kills pre-10 mins. This summoner spell is considered a waste. use it efficiently. or just go Teleport.
Level 2 I would recommend leveling your W as it allows your shotguns to start shooting. If you get 2 before your enemy, I would recommend taking full advantage and engaging with E then Popping W and destroying.
Your next 2 points will go into Q to then at 6 Take your R
Continue Leveling W after that and at level 9 your Purge can stay active indefinitely and costs 0 Mana.
After your W is maxxed follow up maxxing your E than your Q.
Because your W gives your a flat 3 attacks per second, Cull is the most efficient item for Urgot. He will gain 9 Health per second, that Purge is active.
Your First Back, if you CSed effectively and didnt die, You should have around 1200-1400 gold. I generally buy a Tiamat, Control Ward, and a Potion if i can afford it.
Now that you have tiamat your job is to be a little more aggressive as to now you ahve the ability to really push in a wave and clear quickly.
Your next back should be around 1300 Gold and you can go back and get Giant's Belt and a Ruby Crystal. If you have gold buy a couple more potions. Potions are deceptively powerful keeping you in lane.
At this point your looking for 800 Gold to finish your Titanic Hydra while still controlling your lane.
Your next item to look for making is Black Cleaver. Your First item to complete for this item is Kindlegem. Caulfield's Warhammer will be your next. This item is so very important for any comp because it will deplete armor down to nothing so your Purge hits even harder.
Next you need to assess your enemy comp. If your dealing with a heavy AD team you need to build Sterak's Gage. If your having to fight against a Heavy AP team Maw of Malmortius is your next item.
Boots should be woven into wherever you can get them. They arent EXTREMELY important unless your getting CCed alot from AP Champs(Mercury Treads) or being shredded by AD champs (Plated SteelCaps.) If your super ahead and have all 3 items built with no boots build i would recommend buying Ionian Boots of Lucidity
Your 4th Item should be your Mythic. I tend to alway build Frostfire Gauntlet. To Truly Become a MONSTER you need to have super strong survivability coupled with heavy damage output. This item gives your legendary completed items 100 Health each causing your Purge to hit harder with each completed item.
Goredrinker is a close second with his ability to restore a large amount of health if your stuck fighting Bruiser style in the middle of 2-3 melee champs. Coupled with Sterak's Gage you could use this item 2-3 times in the duration of a fight.
Eclipse is only viable if your scaling out of control and your easily shredding people. This item will just excel that even more. Never Build this if your even with your laner or your behind by any standards. the other mythics are far more effective.
The final items you will build generally only come if the game is in overtime and your fighting for the nexus on both sides.
I have started building Serylda's Grudge simply because a person that cant escape dies quicker....If im teamed up against a Sett or Mordekaiser that is out of control I will build Serpent's Fang. If your unsure what to do you can never really go wrong building Guardian Angel. If you just wanna be a super tank you can always build Randuin's Omen.

Urgot is Coded to be a ranged champ. BEcause of htis his benefits arent the same as Illaoi or Yorick. Urgot gets Reduced benefits from both items thus making them not efficient as a Bruiser/Frontline champ. NEVER under any circumstance build these items
**When attacking turrets, After you have 5 Points into your W, You can shred turrets by activating W for 3 seconds then turning off W, Autoing the Turret, and Repeating this until the turret is dead.
W active Count to 3
Turn off W attack turret 1 time
Turn W on Count to 3
Rinse and Repeat
