I hate this matchup. She can block your dmg with E, heals herself and deal a massive dmg to you.
The only counterplay to her is:
Jump with ult deal some dmg keep ur stacks and when her E is about to end throw an empowered E and either you fight or wait for team to appear.

Your problem with fighting in a middle of the lane is gone because he can put bushes and you can jump as much as you can.
Also he is giving you a good shield and this shield wont "steal" your kill because even if you kill someone with explosion it goes straight to you.

Let's start with some questions:
Why do I play rengar?
I play him because i love assassin playstyle and this champ fits for me perfectly.
He has a lot of outplay and carry potentials, you can do some crazy jumps and its really fun to play when you master it.
Is it really worth to play / learn rengar?
For me every champ that you enjoy and consider Fun is worth to play. If you really enjoy rengar but you doing a negative win ratio DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT its only a matter of time. Play more and you will understand more things, you will see the best plays in your head and execute them perfectly.
If you want to play rengar because you think he is OP and thats your only motivation to learn it YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. There are way way easier and stronger champs to play so don't waste your time.
Is Rengar easy to play? How much time do i need to learn him?
Rengar is EASY TO PLAY but HARD TO MASTER. Its not complicated to understand basics such as combos, clear, builds, game plan and thats why people think hes unskilled. But when someone master rengar yeah it seems "broken".
How much time? It depends full on you. Its your choice how much time you gonna spend learning / practicing him. Some people understands things faster than others. You can play him 1 week and you can play better than some people who play it for months.
When to play which rune?
Conqueror is the most safe option every single game. You dont have to worry if enemy is tanky or not, its always usefull.
First strike is good vs heavy hp champs because u can deal more dmg = you gonna farm more gold
But its really bad to play vs champs that can pop ur rune easly.
Electro is good to catch up early kills and if ur playstyle is focused on oneshoting.
Every rune is good for rengar its all about playstyle you have. There is no "the best rengar rune"
Its just preference take setup what you enjoy the most and play with it.
I swap runes so often because im getting bored playing 1 setup 100 games in a row.
Is crit rengar good?
There are some games when crit rengar might be good. I usually go full lethality in 90% of my games. Going crit on rengar is only viable when you bought LDR due to a heavy hp enemy team. If you dont need LDR just play serylda and stick to full lethality build.

To read his passive move ur cursor on the image. Rengar has a 4 stacks total and you have two things that can provide you a stack. 1. When using a non-ultimate ability (Q , W , E ) 2. You gain PURPLE stack when you: -Use your leap -Auto attack something on your ult Keep in mind that you only can have 1 purple stack on your "rotation" and it looks like this: |

To read his skill move ur cursor on the image. In EARLY GAME & JUNGLE CLEAR use this ability for auto attack cancel to maximize your damage. (Same think when you jump DONT USE YOUR Q WHILE JUMPING JUST CLICK IT RIGHT AFTER YOU LAND) |

To read his skill move ur cursor on the image. In early game focus on healing from this ablitity as much as you can, while jungle clearing or fighting with enemy. Later on you use this skill to get 4 stacks and get your empowered ability. Keep in mind you can cleanse any CC with your Empowered W |

To read his ult move ur cursor on the image. Rengar reveals nearest detected enemy within 1600 range and also marking him When jumping on a marked champs you DEAL MORE DMG TO THEM and also shreed their armors for 4 seconds. Keep that in mind and if possible try to get a good angle before jumping on your targets especially in teamfights. I will Add gifs + More later on ^_^ |
