The basic idea is just that handing in incomplete works makes it difficult for other players to actually make use of your guide. In particular, what is lacking from your guide are proper explanations of why you do the things that you do. For example, your masteries merely say what you do, but not WHY you take those masteries.

To be more specific, I'll take an example from 'items' section.



Okay, so it's a core item, but I really fail to see how. You talk about how Phage synergises with Furor and Augment: Power so you have MS when you do Power Transfer... for what? Sheen giving AP and proc on my next autoattack is something that's written in the tooltip - I don't need you to tell me this. And telling me that it does 'massive damage' but not explaining why begs the question. Just how is it 'core' to Viktor? Why can't he play without it? And this is probably one of your better attempts at explaining throughout the whole guide.

Let me try to rewrite it as something that might show you what I mean. I don't really think Trinity Force is necessarily a core item for Viktor but I'll get to that a bit later. I'm just going to write a Trinity Force explanation for Ezreal instead.



So, in short, avoid saying things which are already in the tooltip for the item, but say why they are beneficial for that champion.

There are multiple reasons why ADC Viktor should not be taken seriously, so I'm just going to list them off my head before coming to even questioning your build choices.

1. He has 525 attack range, which is even lower than Vayne and she already struggles range-wise against every current meta pick, and then some, like Caitlyn, Lucian and Jinx. Any competent player would literally harass you out of lane and then stand between you and the minions to stop you from farming. Range disadvantage is an obvious one. As AP, he has less problem because his laser is at least in manageable range, which will link into the next point.

2. As an ADC he has no power spike, no point where he is 'most dangerous'. He cannot hypercarry like Vayne or Tristana (and even Vayne has more range than Viktor]. He cannot siege well, he has no ability to kite particularly well (can only disengage with Gravity Field), he has no comparable damage. As an ADC, there is nothing in which he excels.

3. He has 0 abilities which synergise with being an AD champion. Even Tristana, when played AD, whose abilities all deal magic damage has a huge AS/Attack Range steroid to become a monstrous ADC. Viktor, on the other hand, only has a simple stun field at best which, although it is a good disengage, is not really a necessary quality that an ADC needs. Everything else also scales with AP, so by building him AD, you literally gib his major source of damage, which is magic damage, not physical. By going AD, you render his E and his R basically useless.

4. His passive grants him The Hex Core which occupies a space in his build. However, this is a problem, since ADCs pretty much have a mandatory 6-item build, and The Hex Core simply has no place in an ADC's build. Therefore, you are not being slot efficient with your items when played ADC.

Now I come to your build choices.

1. No Last Whisper. This is probably the biggest sin any ADC can make. As the game goes on, more and more enemies get armor (they get armor per level as well), and to put it simply, a Youmuu's Ghostblade or Black Cleaver isn't going to cut it in terms of armor penetration. Last Whisper is CORE on any ADC.

2. On a similar note, no Infinity Edge in core. This is not a situation item, but a core item as the game goes on (unless you're playing some weird **** like Blue Ezreal). The crit chance and the crit damage buff are crucial in any autoattacker's DPS.

3. AD Glyphs. You pack 9 of these for a total of... 2.52 AD. I'm sorry, but these were a stupid choice with literally no thought put into them. Magic Resist is standard, though mana regen and CDR are viable choices too.

4. Skilling - a second ability should be maxed by level 13. And truth be told, your Death Ray becomes so negligent, you might as well skip taking any points into it until you can't put points in anything else.

5. Blue build is just silly. Viktor already lacks any form of secure DPS, so you're going to delay his already ****py DPS for even a while longer by stacking a Tear? Plus, no real reliable way to stack it.

There are some other questionable choices you make, but they aren't as strong as the ones I've listed above and I'm simply too tired to continue writing more.
