Both Nami and Lulu scale best off of AP. When going against Lulu, she can quickly make sure that you do not heal an ally with her Whimsy. If she does a combo on an Ally of Glitterlance and Whimsy it can be hard to get away from her. Her Help, Pix! can help to keep her Ally from dying, or attach to Nami to kill an ADC.

So You Wanna Play Nami?

I am WolfyTheBandit from the NA server, and I am here to teach you about Nami. My mastery level for her is 7 and I have been supporting with her for about 6 months (give or take). Nami is a great support for her price at 6300 IP. She is hard to master, but in time you learn. I would recommend her for main supports.
As the season goes on, I will continue on this guide and update it.

Pros / Cons

Pros
passive gives a speed boost to Allies.
stun lasts 1.5 seconds.
bounces between 3 Allies and Enemies that are within range.
increases an Allies basic attack with magic damage allowing for an easy last hit.
knocks up an Enemy, allowing time to also .

Cons
Squishy early game.
and can result in kill steals.
Many AP items don't include much health, resulting in Nami not being extremely tanky.

Creeping / Jungling

With , Nami can be quick to jump into team fights. Hiding in a bush to an unsuspecting ADC/Support is a good skill to learn. I don't personally carry control wards unless it's needed at the time but they are useful to creep on laners. When jumping into a possible mid lane team fight, be sure to use your to knock up Enemies quickly.

Team Work

Make sure to listen to ADC/Jungler pings. If an ADC pings you to fall back, and you're low health, do not fight it. You need to recall. Learn map awareness if you are going to play Nami. If you do not have map/ping awareness you are sure to die quickly.
