Hey Guys Amityoce here bringing you another informative support guide to the champion Lulu.

I have been playing league since season 1 playing in almost every elo from silver to plat to diamond even to

high challenger

. I peaked 800lp last season and have been challenger since s6. I thought instead of coaching others I could make an Informative Series where I bring you into my mind and show you my thought process on the support role.

❤️ Pros And Cons❤️

She is a great blindpick support in any elo.

She is a lane bully, but has different and unique gameplays.

She can run aery or guardian rune pages and still be great (rune selection choices vast).

Her W is amazing in 2v2 trades to escape ganks or to turn a 2v3 around. AMAZING ABILITY

Her R is game changing for adcs that dont particularly have self peel I love picking lulu into engage comps.


While she is one of the strongest meta picks in the game she has a weak spot of being flash engaged on. She isn't exactly the tankiest of supports so utilising your summoner spells is important in team fights and lane fights.
❤️ Items❤️
Mikaels Strong Core item for all Ardent Supports get this early if you're vsing a heavy CC comp gold efficient stronger heal shields, makes your team not need to rush QSS's.

Athenes I get this first over Ardent if my team isn't particularly heavy auto attackers the stats are amazing and the Extra heal from Athene Passive is INSANE!

Redemption Big aoe heal great for team fights proc's ardent for your team.

Ardent Strong for adc's, really good for champions like jax and any other auto attack ad champion ( will prio this item for the most part depending on team comps)

Ionian Boots UNIQUE: +10% cooldown reduction UNIQUE: Reduces summoner spell cooldowns by 10%. Really strong boots for most ardent supports I value both unique passives.

Shurelya's This is a fun item that gives bonus heal/shields extra hp+ and it gives you a great burst of movement speed for your team. Good for Peeling/Engaging and Disengaging.

Zekes Great Stats and really good on hyper carries I usually buy this item on all ardent supports after my core.

Mejais I usually buy a dark seal on my first back, If I get it close to 10 stacks I will upgrade it, gives you great combat stats mana/ and its cheap.
❤️ Abilities ❤️
Pix, Faerie CompanionEFFECT RADIUS: 2000

INNATE: Lulu is assisted by Pix, a faerie, who fires a barrage of 3 bolts to her target every time she uses a basic attack against an enemy, dealing 5 − 39 (based on level) (+ 5% AP) Magic damage bonus magic damage with each bolt for a total of 15 − 117 (based on level) (+ 15% AP) bonus magic damage per basic attack. The bolts can be intercepted by enemies in the way of Lulu's target.

Casting Help, Pix! on an ally champion transfers Pix's help to them for 6 seconds.

Glitterlance TARGET RANGE: 925 SPEED: 1500
CAST TIME: 0.25 COST: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 MANACOOLDOWN: 7

ACTIVE: Lulu and Pix, Faerie Companion Pix each fire a magic bolt towards the target point, dealing magic damage to the first enemy they pass through, reduced to 70% against enemies thereafter, and Slow icon slowing them by 80%, decaying over 2 seconds.

80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+ 50% AP)

56 / 87.5 / 119 / 150.5 / 182 (+ 35% AP)

If an enemy is hit by both bolts, the second bolt will deal no damage if the first bolt dealt full damage to them, or 30% damage if the first bolt hit another unit before them. The second hit will refresh the slow.

Whimsy TARGET RANGE: 650 CAST TIME: 0.25 /NONE COST: 65 MANA COOLDOWN: 16 / 15 / 14 / 13 / 12

ENEMY CAST: Lulu launches a spell on the target enemy champion, polymorphing them into a harmless critter for a short duration.

1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25

Polymorphed target is also disarmed and has their base movement speed reduced by 60.

ALLY CAST: Lulu instantly casts erratic magic upon an ally champion or herself, giving the target Attack speed icon bonus attack speed and Movement speed icon 30% (+ 5% per 100 AP) bonus movement speed for the next few seconds.

Help, Pix! TARGET RANGE: 650 CAST TIME: NONE COST: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 MANACOOLDOWN: 8

ENEMY CAST: Lulu sends Pix, to the target enemy, dealing magic damage and True Sight revealing them for 4 seconds.

80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 40% AP)

ALLY CAST: Lulu sends Pix, to the target ally, shielding them for 2.5 seconds if they are a Champion icon champion.

80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 60% AP)


ACTIVE: Lulu enlarges the target champion or herself for 7 seconds, granting them bonus health and an aura that slows nearby enemies for the duration. On-activation, nearby enemies around the target are also Airborne icon knocked up for 0.75 seconds.

300 / 450 / 600 (+ 50% AP)

30 / 45 / 60%

The slow persists for 0.25 seconds after the enemy leaves range.
❤️ Summoner Spell Breakdown❤️

Analysing and breaking down the s10 meta for support summoners on soraka.

Flash pretty standard rune on every support.

Summoner Spell HealWith Revitalise PASSIVE: Grants 5% Heal and shield power.
Outgoing healing and outgoing shielding is increased by 10% on targets below Health 40% health.
Incoming healing, incoming shielding, self healing and self shielding are increased by 10% while you are below 40% health.

This Rune matched withUNIQUE: Reduces summoner spell cooldowns by 10%.

If you really want to run this rune then your adc will have to run heal, but as this meta is I Value exhaust on my adc.
❤️ Helping Your Jungle❤️
This is exactly what it sounds like

You notice that your jungler is getting invaded or chased by the enemy mid/jg and you're closest to your turret then go and roam up and help him even being spotted by the enemy team can stop the enemies from chasing. Especially if you're in a 3v2 situation they will leave.

You have lane priority early game because you hit level 2 first, your jungler is being contested for scuttle HELP HIM!!!! you lose nothing for it and potentially get a kill or give your jungler a lead.

You have lane Priority because you read my guides and the enemy jungler is a stronger dueler level 1-6 so forcing a split map early game.
You're trying to assist your jungler so he can actually play the game.
this is one example of a scenario that could happen

Your enemy jungler (AS AN EXAMPLE COULD BE ANY CHAMPION)"Elise" started red side to level 2 Gank your top laner, Then he paths to your Blue Side Jungle before return ganking top because no sums.

you already know he didnt path to a full clear or red to blueside gank bot because he didnt walk over your trinket vision after his red.

So as a support you shove the lane in hard to prioritise assisting your jungler with clearing enemy blue buff/scuttle if anyone is going to collaspe on him, your enemy botlane cant collaspe without losing creeps. Enemy mid - did he exhaust all his mana to shove lane? Do you guys win the 3v3? your mid in a typical soloq environment probably wont collaspe in this scenario because he is shoved in and losing those waves of creeps is not worth your jungler getting a blue side clear.

This is just one situation where your jungler ( evelynn) is full clearing red side enemy jungle and is spotted topside(enemy jungle) so your jungler typically will invade enemy blueside. This is fine, but if your botlane does not have prio then your jungler will get collasped on and die, he will then tilt and blame his entire team for him forcing a bad trade. thats why it is imperative to get lane pressure as lulu, getting the shove. you have a very strong level 1-2 into most matchups.

If your lane has priority and you see your botlanes scuttle being contested walk over with your ad to help secure crab

❤️ Securing Level 2 ❤️
Securing level 2 as a support

I try to secure level 2 first but autoing the second wave of minions with my adc, it takes 3 melee minions+ first wave to hit level 2, before the last minion dies ping your enemy adc/sup and start moving over before the last minion dies. synergize an all in engage on them, they cannot win the trade and the best overall outcome is you get a kill or burn their summoners.

In the Event that they get the level 2 first Respect it And LEAVE EARLY BEFORE THEY ENGAGE ON YOU.
❤️ Enemy Jungler❤️
If my jungle is starting topside pathing botside I will poke but let them shove into us and freeze it, allowing our jungler to gank us, but if I see the jungle pathing bottom to top I will never allow my opponents to get the shove into me. I might be playing an "Ardent Support" But I will never submit lane pressure.

If the enemy jungler is pathing bot side because he started top, he didn't level two gank top/mid. You know his either full clearing botside or buff to buff ganking botlane, make sure in this case to respect the enemy jungler, even if you don't respect your lane opponents respect the 2v3 and let them shove into you. Freezing can be extremely valuable as it forces your enemy adc to either overextend his step into a gank/countergank by junglers. Or to take free poke uncontested.

Before Lane
I Try to ward the enemy raptors early with my team level 1, so I know if the jungler is pathing botside or midside level 2 or even buff to buff to top, its important to try and track enemy jungle 24/7 to mitigate you and your allies from dying most junglers have a pathing style whether it be generic or something different they have a pattern and its easy to read the pattern and ward with your jungler to secure map priority.

I cannot Stress this enough the value of a Control Ward every time you recall.
❤️ Early Game❤️

Early game on Lulu you're wanting to setup a line of vision with your team, You want to make sure you protect your jungle from the enemy team whilst getting vision and this works two ways;

Stacking on your buff against champions like blitz/morg/thresh/pyke/naut to get a safe and free first blood or by acing the enemy team. This is the REVERSE CHEESE tactic.

Getting wards as a team on enemy jungle raptors ect to track the enemy jungle, once you know where the jungler is starting you can track his jungle path and this will help your team in so many ways mostly safe pinging them and preventing early ganks.

I know what you're thinking I pinged but my team died to something stupid? It happens even in challenger Not sure what to tell you

Getting into Lane

Regardless of starting Q or E your job is to support your adc from not getting aggressively zoned level 1 rushing level 2 with relic shield for example is a way to get really strong lane dominance and potentially cheese a kill or win the lane.

Your E can be used on minions to bounce your Q for the slow to setup kills or poke.

Your W can be used in two different ways to speedup an ally and provide attackspeed and movement speed or it can be used to slow an enemy and turn them into a cute bunny :)

Your R Knockbacks enemies provides bonus HP and slows enemys nearby pretty straightforward you can flash R yourself to knockup enemys as a form of engage.
❤️ Mid Game❤️

Congratulations your team didnt surrender and you're at mid game. YAY!

You want to be focusing on rotating from botlane to the mid lane if dragon is still up/ If dragons gone you can rotate top and swap with top to botlane, constantly buying pinks and securing objective control from dragon to rift herald with your team, Your top will most likely have tp and your mid tp or not will safely be able to farm bot/mid without your help, at this point of the game you want to safely collect waves prevent objectives being taken, and if a fight begins play front to back and protect your backline use your W defensively or how you see fit.

Wards are your best friend in the mid to late game.
❤️ Late Game❤️
Congratulations you're still playing

this is the part where we end the game, you may or may not have soul, you may or may not have inhibs, you may or may not be contesting baron, you might be tilted regardless we are all almost full build with elixirs dancing around waiting for something to happen.
This is a game of chess play it slow and play it front to back, if your top has tp and has top prio he can split bot and apply inhib pressure while you get vision control on baron and try and end the game. Make sure you stick together protect your backline and let them know it will be okay.
