Threats & Synergies
Aatrox can keep you on your feet, make sure you have good lane control and keep him on your side so your jungler can roam up for some free gold. Bring ignite if you aren't good at fighting him and you should win if you dodge his third zone.
Camille is a major pain and will dance on your level for nearly the whole game. if you can get her level 1 then she isn't very good to start with, but it's always worth a shot.
Don't bother building crit Sett to counter him, it will not work. This being said, he is not a lane threat and is a big tub of meat for you to hurl into the enemy backline where there are much more important targets.
Big D can only dance with you if you make a mistake or he goes grasp. Otherwise you should take advantage of most players trying to lane bully as him to get some fat stacks.
If you are good at fighting Fiora, this is an even fight. She has the kit to beat you, depends on how good the player is.
Play someone else or dodge. It's not going to go well for you.
Free money. Watch out for the flash-q-(ignite)-ult from this guy, it's nasty.
Can dance with most top laners and doesn't like to get punished easily. Mega Gnar is a solid meatbag to throw at the enemy backline later on though, so play the early game carefully and look for plays when he gets big and can't scamper off.
Don't get hit and you win. She is very easy to evade. Respect her ult and when you do get hit by her E.
Play forward level 1, retreat under tower level 2, look for opportunities past that. If you can get ahead she will loose unless she starts a fight with her passive stacked at least to 4 OR she hits you with the stun.
You loose to karthus top any day of the week. You see him, you play someone else. Nobody plays this guy top though, so that's not a big issue.
Try not to push up and let her camp tower. Kayle is super safe this season and isn't on your list of big fatties to send it with. She does however get punked on in 4 punches when you get a couple crit items, so that's a plus.
Lillia is very oppressive and will be nearly impossible to kill unless you force her out of lane to the point she gets significantly behind.
Wrong character to fight this behemoth. You will not do ANY damage when he gets an item and boots.
See Malphite for relevant analysis.
Bait/dodge his E and Q then all in him. He will not win in his ult under even circumstances.
Woof boy over here will beat you after 30 minutes. Don't wait till then to win the game. He can't even get close to hitting minions in lane though, so he'll be looking elsewhere for farm (your jungler).
Thiccum who will beat you if he hits at least 2 of his 3 abilities in a trade. Once he gets his mythic he is not killable, so gun it for his teammates instead.
Without tank items this guy kills you in one combo. Barely ever see him top anymore, so not worth worrying about.
Hard to put down and doesn't take kindly to you being close to her. Not that bad though, can easily win if she is subpar.
Technically an even matchup but will take some serious brainpower. Seriously entertaining though, better player will win this one.
Not much you can do do beat her, just punish her mistakes and if she makes a lot of them you take the W.
You actually counter this guy even though you would imagine otherwise. He just can not eat your haymakers.
Meatbag and has the most easily interruptible Q in the galaxy. Get fed, get rift and get the W.
I have an eternal hatred for Wukong. Your whole thing you got going on here? He's just better at it. Also can stomp your team mates if you don't perish. Ban or dodge.
Clap the rodent with some creeps and beat the snot out of him. Don't punch until the blind is gone. He won't stand a chance.
Very hard to beat especially if he goes PTA. Jungler or bust when it goes for fighting.
Just wants to farm and you are a huge lane bully. Don't leave him alone if you can help it.
Yasuo is skill based like Riven but is in for a rude awakening if he thinks blowing on your fists are going to keep them away from his face.
Champion Build Guide
-You will beat most if not all top laners in an AA battle at level 1, so try to engage them fast.
-Always buy vampiric scepter over other items on your first back, as the sustain from life steal is critically important to winning the lane.
-Once you have your Immortal Shieldbow you should look to fight in another lane or pressure objectives and use the damage hike to catch enemies off guard.
-Even though you build only AD items, Sett is naturally tanky and will be able to take a very sizable amount of damage with the sustain in this build.
-The levelling path which prioritizes Q is meant to take advantage of Sett's AD scaling for his Q increasing with the level of the ability, which pairs well with the high amount of AD you will be stacking early on in the game.
