Galio
You can't even deal dmg to him. But if you don't troll, he won't be able to kill you tho. Just play the lane and farm safe, and try to roam whenever you can to grab some kills. If you really need to win your lane, taking conqueror is the way to go.

Hi! It's Dazzther here, and Welcome to my Season 12 Akali PRO Guide!

HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY!
So, let's have a quick look onto Akali's abilities:
- Try to use your
Perfect Execution when you are looking for a all in into enemy champions (as we'll discuss later on this guide, you can always land a E after the R1 cast, making it easy to make the full combo properly).
- When trading on early levels with Akali, always abuse on your
Assassin's Mark to shred enemies down. Wait 'til your energy is fully restored to activate your passive, and then throw another
Five Point Strike to deal maximized DPS, and even proc your Electrocute rune (if you are running it).
- Never forget to use your
Twilight Shroud when you need to. It has a long cooldown tho, so be careful and mindful, when you use it.
You are probably guessing: how will I choose between this many meta builds, and how will this influence in my playstyle? So, let's talk about itemization.
|
※ x MEELEE/SQUISHIES |
|
※ x TANKS When taking conqueror, you may me aiming to build a tankier way, or either facing a team comp full of tanks. This rune playstyle make you able to trade well early and late game with almost anyone in the game. Try to extend the trade, and use your full combo to guarantee a positive trade for you, so you can all in your enemy laner later on. Going for this rune setup, will require some more sustain. So, consider going for a bruiser build, choosing |
Talking about the other items:
Mejai's Soulstealer The snowball item. This is a item built when you are sure to win early/mid game. It's a cheap item, but if you got no stacks on it, you're screwd. So, try your best not to die, play "safe" and only take risks if you see it's really worth it. On your 1st/2nd base, buy the
Shadowflame Core item every Akali build. You may build this item every game. Great cost-value, provides you lost of magic pen, some health and duel power. It's a perfect second item rush, right after your mythic.
Rabadon's Deathcap The ap ratios go BRRR. This one is a very controversial item. Some players say that is a must-have item, every single game. Others, including me, agree that d.cap is a situacional item. Either you can buy it third item, after a 25 stack Mejai on a 10/0 game; or last item, in a 30 minute game. But sometimes, it's just not worth it buying it: so expensive, bad itemization tree. In the end, it's up to you when buying it or not, depending on your game. A little advice: I'd only buy it when I'm extremely fed, or when there are only squishies on the enemy team. Otherwise, better going for more useful stats, as magic pen, health or armor/mr.
Morellonomicon The healcut item. Nothing more than a situacional item. When you need, buy it, simple as that. It's a overall ok item on Akali, some ap and some health. But there are some many better items out there, so just make sure not to waste your gold, when you don't actually need to.
Zhonya's Hourglass Counter to almost every AD champ. It's perfect for Akali, guarantees armor and ap to you. So, when facing ad champs in the mid/top & jg, don't be afraid to do it without thinking too much. Also, is a good option when you're fed, and need to be a little safer for not throwing out your lead in bounties. Generally, third or fourth item.
Demonic Embrace Bruiser item that makes you tankier. This item in mainly built when taking the
Banshee's Veil Counter to heavy AP comps. Same as Zhonya's, but good against AP champs. Besides that, remember that you have a passive on this item that negate any source of magic dmg one time. So is good against Veigars, and Zyras, when the are ap and have a expressive cc ability that you want to avoid taking.
Lich Bane Perfect for one shotting squishies. This new version of Lich Bane is good on Akali, as long you're facing some squishies on the enmy team. Does not give you any health, armor, mr, magic pen; it's a straight dmg item, so make sure to build it only when you won't need anything else. Particularly, I don't build it any of my games.
Void Staff Do it against tank comps. It's a item made for killing tanks. When going for the So, which are the main Akali Combos? Let's jump right onto it:

Now, let's move on to some Akali tips & tricks:
|
Assassin's mark (Passive) |
- Never do not use your passive. Here's where the most damage output comes from; - When early trading, let the energy full restore before using your passive, so, doing this, you can trade better in lane, and even proc (video soon) - If you auto atack the target inside your passive circle, and in the animation of it (video soon) - When with the passive active, you'll have more MS, so make sure to use on your favour. |
|
Shuriken Flip (E) |
- You can bypass some walls with your E; (video soon) - You can follow flashes, TPs and dashes with your E; - You can - E + flash does not work, you must flash, and then E. (video soon) |

Here's my conclusion!
So, if you are reading until this point, I just wanna say thank you. I tried to do my best on explaining my main to you, and hope you like.
Questions you may be asking:
So let me try to answer you.
Akali's being my main since season 9. I mained jungle and support roles before, so it was a little dificult for me to learn how to lane well, farm and trade. Since I got rid of the lacks of non-playing mid lane, it felt so great to play with her. Yes, she's a high skill-required champion, and has a high skill ceiling as well. You'll need at least 20, to 50 games, to fully understand her, and start carrying your own games. But I swear to you guys, it's all worth it. She's fun to play, strong character, can handle multiple enemies at once, and fits in almost every single soloqueue comp. I climbed so easily with her, and recommend you all giving her a try.
