Story of Gangplank

Gangplank was born the son of the dread pirate captain Vincent the Shadow - one of the most wealthy and feared pirates in all of Blue Flame Island. One might think this would have spoiled the boy with a cushioned life of privilege, but the truth is quite the opposite. Growing up in the city of Bilgewater isn't easy; pirates are not known for their compassion, and that most certainly extends to their families. Vincent wanted his son to grow up tough and strong, so he was extremely hard on the young Gangplank. Even as a child, Gangplank was as mean as a snake and is said to have slept with his eyes open. As he grew, the young man rapidly became the most ruthless and feared pirate in all of Bilgewater, and his daddy was never more proud than on the day of his son's eighteenth birthday - when Gangplank stabbed his old man in the back and claimed the famed pirate ship, the Dead Pool, for his own.
The continent of Valoran, however, is a dangerous place for pirates; Gangplank could read the writing on the wall. The den of pirates known as Bilgewater would soon be pulled down by the undertow of Valoranian politics and the Institute of War. It was time for Bilgewater to have their own champion to represent them in the League of Legends, and who better than the fiercest pirate of them all? It is said that Gangplank has enough power and favor to claim the title of the Pirate King back home, but that he is simply biding his time and building his reputation as a champion before he returns to a life of piracy.

"Yo ho, blow the man down. Or at least shoot him when his back is turned and steal all his booty."

Masteries

These masteries are built to only focus on damaging your opponent early and good mid game also works for late game very good.

Skill Sequence

This order will make you more stronger than just maxing the parrrley.

Maxing the raise morale is better and has a huge difference for example:

1. Raise morale permanently raises your attack damage and speed as a passive.

2. When activated it increases it even more making you more effective in battle and also your allies

3. The parrrley still packs punch because it does damage equal to your maximum attack damage so raising morale increases your parrrley as well as your basic attacks.

4. Leveling parrrley first will make you mana hungry so try to avoid that.

So for those reasons maxing raise morale and citrus is better than parrley which i highly reccomend that you use parrrley as a gold-looting ability than just harrassment (which harrassment is why people max parrrley first)

Give it a try i asure you it will work start even if you change items a little.

Runes

Runes are built for a late and early game also meant for survivability againts attack damage dealers.

The small crit chance build is made to get that little late game crit chance to go higher and to avoid the brawlers gloves in start of game.

It will make your gangplank more sustainable in early game and also a damage dealer.
You will be unstopable once you hit those crits its literally a strong choice.

Team Work

Teamfights are often on late of mid game sometimes early.
When in a team fight always make sure to hit that raise Morale to make your team more effective.

Gangplank is almost always targeted first so make sure to look at where their attacks at targetting and Make your escape that way your team will have time to attack and quickly drain their HP.

Always look for the highest damage dealer such as ashe, veigar, and others as such and try to kill them first but remember you do not posses enough magic resist to sustain their Ability Power attacks so be careful.

Also well positioning gives you the edge on the battle, the mind surpasses the strengh remember that.

Gangplank is a good teamplayer so use him wiseley eiter in 3v3 or 5v5.

Items

This type of build might be very interesting to gangplank users I say every gangplank user MUST try this build and see how it works for them. Ive found an nterest in building the masteries and runes this way when i found out about the total damage grog-soaked blade does. It kinda dissapointed me a little so I wanted to level it up y adding some masteries and runes to AP and I must say it actually works VERY well. Hope you enjoy it and have fun playing Gangplank Haters gonna hate >:)
