This matchup is very hard for syndra if they rush hex drinker. Qiyana can one shot you even from behind, if they don't rush hexdrinker you can one shot as well. There's no real specific tips vs qiyana that i can give as my knowledge vs her is still kinda small. Just be weary of walls when fighting her, and try to proc electrocute once, then wait for it to come back off CD. all in as soon as its back up if shes not full hp.
Akali
Hard matchup for syndra as well. She can kill you even from behind if you **** up once. Remember that you can cancel her 1st and 2nd part of ult with your E. so don't panic.
Be very careful with your e, don't throw them out randomly, if she is good and knows it's down she wins the all in every time.
Poke her when she goes to farm with Q and once she's sitting at 70% life look to all in with 5 ball ult + ignite for kill.

Rumble
Basically impossible to kill. You have to farm this lane out until you get ludens and boots. He shouldn't be able to kill you either but he basically has lane prior the entire game.
He is easy to gank though.. once you hit 6 call your jungler for a gank, if your jungler falls behind and can't gank you are probably doomed as rumble is literally impossible to solo kill unless they are awful.
Stay behind minions to dodge his E harpoon and that's about all you can do in the matchup til you get ahead or items.
Irelia
Extremely hard lane even if you solo kill her. Once she gets merc treads and phage/sheen she is almost impossible to solo.
Punish her early by q + autoing her when she goes to farm a minion with q. If you can time your e you can cancel her Q by e'ing her when she q's you. (she does not get a reset if you do this)
Always try to use ur ulti on her before stunning to ensure you land the stun (more balls = more stun)
if she lands stun on you, you are pretty much dead so try to dodge it. you can flash her ult also!
Ekko
Easy in lane, impossible late game.
He has everything he needs to woop your *** mid-late game. Tons of mobility, high burst damage, and a reset that gives all his hp back. NEVER ulti ekko unless you land your stun!!
In lane it's easy, just punish him whenever he goes to farm. never use your E on him until he E's.. only Q + auto poke.. the second he uses his E to dodge your q he's going to jump you.. W your Q sphere and throw it on top of yourself.. then stun him,, step back a bit.. q him and auto his *** down.
Yasuo
This matchup gets really hard later on, it's kinda like ekko. this entire lane is about predicting his e.
Yas windwall only blocks your E and your R. you can Q + W over it.
pay attention to where your minions are, don't stand too close to them or he will dash straight for them and get on top of you, you lose if he's on you.
If yasuo gives you space you should walk into your minions and zone him.. this makes it so he can't e since he is too far away.. q him when he goes to walk up to them.. and back off, slowly poking him down. if he positions close to them, you can walk at him like you're gonna q to force him back. If he doesn't back just poke him with q.. at lower elo it's easy to predict when he's gonna e through a minon cause he'll wait till it's really low then start running towards it.. this is when you wanna get ready to q + e him!
Azir
This lane is hard because azir has range over you. You need to setup stuns by Q'ing the melee minions once, then when he goes to poke you, E him with the ball on the ground, follow up with a W + Q to proc electrocute. This is really the only efficient way to trade with azir.. Farm this lane out till you get a ludens, if he has no barrier you can solo kill him with ludens + 5 ball ult.
Be careful when he hits 6, if he ever throws a soldier out but stops attacking minions he's trying to bait you in so he can E to it and q behind you to ult you. Pay attention and avoid walking up when his soldiers are very forward and he stops attacking/using q.
Zed
This matchup is really not that hard for syndra unless you fall behind.
Zed is very obvious about what he wants to do. He's going to walk up and W + EQ you when you go to farm. Bait this out by walking in then turning back, or tank the E + W and dodge the shurikens with a side step (zed's q is all the damage).
Never ult zed before he ults you, it will dodge your ult. Only ult zed first if you stun him and are in range to instantly ult after the stun, or if you have zhonyas you can ulti him then zhonyas so he can't press r to dodge your ult.
Pay attention to his shadow, if zed throws out a W before his R he can instantly snap to the W shadow but not the R.. if he doesn't use his W and he just r's you, throw a q behind you and stun him immediately. then unload combo.
Syndra wins if you can just dodge the shurikens from the W + EQ combo.. always side step!!!!!!!
LeBlanc
another 50/50 skill matchup.
You can cancel leblancs W with your E making it very easy to win trades. You can push easier as well to keep her under tower. don't let LB shove you in. be ready to q + e her when you go to CS. If you ever miss your E, back up and give up CS until it's off cooldown unless she is passive.
This matchup is volatile if you get ahead u can one shot her forever. Whenever you see her walking up as you go to cs get ready to q + e her to cancel her W. make sure you get your ulti off before her passive procs as well! you can do 70% of her life with a lost chapter, level 6, 5 ball ulti and ignite!!
Cassiopeia
Very easy matchup for syndra if you don't tank the cass Q's. Her q is slightly less CD than yours and about the same range BUT! you have a stun which wins you every trade. don't be afraid to lose a little hp, in order to take a lot from her. You can trade with her by Q'ing melee minions once then setting a stun up by positioning around the ball on the ground. E her then q + w her.
Even if she lands q, when she starts running at you to e.. just Q her.. then pick it up with W
throw the W + e her
then follow up with 2nd Q, you win the trade EVERY time.
if she doesn't take cleanse or barrier you can one shot her at level 6, with 5 ball ulti. Just hit her with ONE q before you go all in.
Ahri
another easy matchup, her abilities are easier to play around than yours. At level 6 you can literally 100 to 0 her if she doesnt build any hp or MR, or if she doesn't have the corrupting potion rune that heals her instantly.
Best way to trade with ahri is to q your melee minions and then stun her when she walks up to farm. once you land that stun, follow up with w + q auto.. at level 6 one shot her with this method, (5-6 ball ult) if the circumstances are right. If she ever engages on you first, try to ult her before you e.. it makes it easier to land to the stun.. also i prefer to wait until she uses her 2nd charge of R, and as SOON as she uses it you should q + e her.. she cannot recast ults instantly so you have time to land a stun and escape if you wait for her to cast it before using ur ability.
