I know, there's only few informations but i just write concisely and to the point.
Sorry for the fact that I do not use icons (because i do not know how do it duly :<)

Shen's Vorpal Blade is rly powerful in early game to harassing enemies, also have magic damage. in the initial phase of the game shen isnt tanky, thats why he need some armor and mr (from seals and glyphs).

You can use other runes, as:
Greater Quintessence of Fortitude (+26 health)
Greater Quintessence of Swiftness (+1.5% movement speed)
Greater Glyph of Focus (-0.65% cooldowns)

For me the best skills are HEAL and GHOST.
U can stay on lane as long as u wish with ur passive heal from Vorpal Sword but sometimes you will be in a troubles where ur passive won't enough.
Of course heal is also very useful for your teammates.
Ghost is helpful for catching enemies, running away and to few anothers things ;p

When you will be SOLO TOP good choice for you is TELEPORT.
You will not have anyone on your lane so you won't be able to teleport to somebody by your ulti. That's why its a good pick. Also it's very helpful when all team is for example on bot lane and top's tower have too much enemy minions to destroy - few seconds and turret is safe.

I'm using 9/21/0 becasue Shen is a tank. Also his Vorpal Sword can be really annoying in early game for squishy heroes, thats why i added something to ap, cd and magic penetration.

There's two builds for Shen

Fist of them:

- Doran's Shield (optional - if u dont want it just buy,
- Boots of Speed,
- Aegis of the Legion (if team havent any support hero),
- Mercury's Treads,
- Sunfire Cape,
- Force of Nature,
- Spirit Visage,
- from Heart of Gold i'm making Raduin's Omen,
- Rylai's Crystal Scepter (override Aegis of the Legion if it's bought)


It gives me a lot of hp, mr and armor, slow from skills, aoe dmg and active - aoe slow.

Second:

- Doran's Shield (optional),

- Aegis of the Legion (if team havent any support hero),

- Sunfire Cape,
- Force of Nature,
- Warmog's Armor,
- from Heart of Gold i'm making Raduin's Omen,

In other words - I'm overriding Spirit Visage and Rylai's to 2x Warmog's Armor.


It gives me enormous amount of hp and hp regen. Armor and magic resist are also there. Oh, and of course aoe slow and aoe dmg.
