Introduction
I pick magic penetration marks, dodge seals, flat magic resistance glyphs and flat HP quints.
The magic penetration is rather important, since I do not use magic penetration boots.
The dodge seals stack with the masteries I use. However, you should take HP/level seals if you dont pick up the 2% dodge from masteries.
The magic resistance glyphs are rather self-explaining. Most champions have lower base MR than Armor, so I think this is a pretty good choice. Though if you have trouble with timing your cooldowns (harder when you are not used to Mordekaiser) pick up some cooldown reduction glyphs instead.
My choice of quintessences is pretty standard. The extra health pool gives you a much stronger early game. This combined with Doran's Shield gives you a good bunch of survivability to start with.

I usually grab a Doran's Shield, since I feel I need the HP and health regen from it a lot, + the armor is beneficial to you aswell.
Other viable options would be a regrowth pendant and a health potion, or simple boots + 3 health pots.
If you picked Doran's Shield, get simple boots on your first trip home, and either an amplifying tome, or even a full hextech revolver.
If you took boots first, either get the hextech revolver or upgrade into boots of swiftness on your first recall.
I like to get defensive items early on, cause it makes it hell of a lot easier to survive. That's why I take a force of nature asap, starting with 2 regrowth pendants.
As soon as you have your hextech gunblade, you should start to play slightly more agressive, unless you are obviously having a bad game.
The spirit visage boosts your spell vamp effectiveness, but also your ultimate's heal.
I take this as a personal choice, but feel free to replace it.
Rabadon's Deathcap makes your spells hit noticably harder, which makes stacking iron man a walk in the park.
Finish off the build with a warmog's armor if your stats are bad or neutral to slightly good.
If you are absolutely rocking the game, and feeling unstoppable, go for a rylais crystal scepter for your last item.
Oh yes, if their team is very AD heavy, I usually take thornmail instead of force of nature.
