Thanks for the guide, I tried pyke for one round a while ago and hard inted, read this guide and got an S+ on my first match (probably wont get another lol), I was wondering what you would suggest to ban as pyke since he seems so flexible and doesnt care about enemy shields.

Morgana is probably a go-to ban for many Pyke players since she blocks your CC and you have no way to break her shield.

Hey, noticed something; Presence of Mind doesn't lower your ultimate cooldown any longer, could you maybe update that?

Hi, first of all: I love your guides, I learned how to adc with you and my love for Tristana is mainly thanks to you.
I like playing pyke a lot and playing with him I found that prowlers claw is a really good item to outplay other people. The lethality it gives you is good on it's own, but what I like most of the item is the extra dash it gives you. Because it makes you dash to your enemies back you can combo e + claw's active to hit pretty consistenly your stun.
Having said that, is there any reason you didn't include it even as a situational item in the build??

Hey! Don't even play Pyke and I found this extremely amusing for the time I read it. I liekd the art and I might even play Pyke now. Congrats on making me play a champ I didn't want to I guess... hahah, ADC Pyke ftw!!!

I just had an idea that Frozen Mallet might be a good item for Pyke, at least in certain situations. The 700HP gets converted into 50AD, plus the 30 on top of that for 80 bonus AD in total. The slow could also be useful, especially if enemies are doing fairly well at kiting your E and ult.

It could be worth testing out, though I'm not very good at Pyke and I'm mainly thinking this could be good as a last item, to work sort of like a "last nail in the coffin" choice, mainly when Guardian Angel doesn't feel too necessary. I did test it out a bit in the practice tool, though of course you can't get a very accurate idea of how it'll work in a real game with that, but without any drakes or Baron, my AD was 430 (My other items were Duskblade, Umbral Glaive, Death's Dance, Youmoo's, and boots) at max level. Obviously the bot crumbled with the first auto attack, but following up with an ability was definitely easier, and I could also see the slow making it easier to chase down someone who flashes to escape if you got an auto off right before.

The issue with that is that the buildpath isn't great and people also forget that Lethality scales just as well on Pyke as AD itself. With Frozen Mallet you get plenty of AD but no lethality, meaning lower damage on base abilities and similar/lower damage on the ult execute. The slow on the other hand is nice, but Pyke is also far from one of the best beneficiaries of the Frozen Mallet slow, by comparison he gets very little use out of it since his theme is slipperiness and not sticking power. The two conflict. Black Cleaver would be a better choice, giving similar AD but also some armor reduction for your teammates as well as a huge 20% CDR all on its own, which actually does enhance his slipperiness.

The extra CDR is undeniably good, but wouldnt the armor reduction be counter intuitive as well, in the sense of, you're not going to be brawling face to face against other heroes most of the time, you want to dislocate their comp and pick enemies outside the heat, if you find yourself CC'ed by a big ult or combo thats it, out for the count. So wouldnt frozen mallet help with fast targets like Sona?
Pyke already focus on AD and Lethality so the passive from Cleaver wont count that much as solo target and for ganging up against a desirable targe for that passive, its generally a pickoff or end of teamfight anyway...

Sorry if offended in any way.

Not who you expect to answer haha but that's not a bad idea, i generally like to end with MoMalmortius and Guardian Angel, giving both ad and ap protection but i can see how Angel can fall of sometimes, that extra damage with slow might guarantee dominance even more, gonna give it a try and share my thoughts

What are some good synergies with pyke ADC? A hook support wouldn't be too necessary as pyke already handles that, I think some damage dealer supports would be nice, But could you recommend some? What other supports mesh well with pyke?

Taric works really well with it, also probably Senna, Yuumi and Lux.

I main Pyke, and I've been wondering because I've ran both trees before, but do you think electrocute is better or Aftershock? Because sometimes I just feel dumb and useless cause my Aftershock is pretty useless against some comps. Do you have any suggestions when I should run a certain tree to counter the opposing team?
Nice Guide btw *\(^-^)/*

Electrocute is about the same as Aftershock probably, but I actually recommend using Hail of Blades if you want an aggressive rune. It's far more popular than Electrocute in high Elo even if not nearly as popular as Aftershock, and IMO it's probably better than both. So long as you're comfortable on Pyke I'd just run Hail of Blades all the time.

Hail of Blades -> Cheap Shot -> Eyeball Collection -> Ultimate Hunter -> Triumph -> Legend: Tenacity

I also take Electrocute on Pyke because he can activate it very easy and it helps to take the enemy's health bar low enough to kill him with R but this is not only the reason, I feel that Aftershock lose it's power on Pyke because it scales with defensive stats that you don't build. Anyway good job!
