Introduction

This is my first guide, so my format will be kind of muggy. The disclaimer seems pointless since my writing won't get any better with writing any subsequent guides.

As the name implies, this build aims to reduce cooldown times to such an extent that skills may be spammed. It also invests in items with mana regen so that mana won't be a problem to carry out the above. This is the way I play... doesn't mean I'm a great player, but this build works for my play style and I would like to share.

Note: I've only every played summoner's rift so this build may not be applicable to any other map.

Runes

With so many cooldown reduction items, AP is lacking. Hence, AP runes are used to balance out the lack of power. The skill spamming should also balance the lack of power. Feel free to use whatever runes you see fit, if you don't agree.

Masteries

Offense tree: Up to the cooldown reduction and magic penetration.

Utility tree: up to the cooldown reduction and finish off the tree.

Items

Will of the ancients - to boost survivability since you'll be taking fire before gaining followers.

The rest of the items are chosen for their cooldown properties. Depending on what level masteries you have obtained or what cooldown glyphs you chose to have, you may not need all these items. I would recommend replacing one of them with a Rabadon's Deathcap to boost AP.

Skill Sequence

Fling - your main active attack, therefore, the more AP the better. But it is not your main damage output.

Poison trail - your main damage output, so it is maxed first. By end-game, with your mana regen, you should be able to keep this running without toggling off. Of course, be smart about it - if you don't need it, no use wasting mana.

Mega adhesive good slow for targeting purposes.

Insanity potion - This is the real reason for this build. This buff lasts for 25 seconds - cooldown 100 seconds. Technically you will only need a cooldown reduction of 75% to keep this going as an ongoing buff. Keep an eye on your speed - since you want enemies to follow you and your poison trail has a 3.25 second lifespan, you don't want to completely outrun your stalkers. Forsaking your boot is room for another AP item.

Summoner Spells

Frankly, I don't have a choice of summoner spells. I always forget to use them. The choices I have are to pull myself or allies out of sticky situations. They have no place in this build. Use as you see fit.

Summary

Fairly self-explanatory. The items I use help me to stay alive, farm effectively and be a viable damage dealer. I do not tank, nor do I have the capacity to do so. Feel free to comment.
