Threats & Synergies
Ashe is a fairly standard ADC. This is mostly a skill lane.
She can poke you to hell and back if you arent careful. Try to use hook and flay combos to prevent her from poking, but dont risk getting too low - or she will kill you off with her stupidly long range. Post 6, always stay between her and your ADC if your ADC is low hp, even if you dont THINK she will ult. Better safe than sorry.
Keep minions between you and him, he cant hurt you too much. Be careful with hooking him, and his frontal-cone attack can do a good chunk of damage. If your adc is low, be ready to hook towards him. If corki jumps to your adc, you want to be able to hook him away.
Draven is terrifying. If he gets even one kill, he will spiral out of control. The only tip i can offer is this: During engages, Flay and your Hook can prevent him from catching his axes.
Just dodge the skillshots. You will be fine. He is a bit slippery, though, and your hook is easy to juke.
He hurts! Try to keep him off your adc without taking too much damage, and beware his dash. He has a short range, so take advantage of it.
Again, fairly standard skill lane.
Kalista can dodge your hooks with her passive, and an extended trade will always end in her favor. Try to poke without staying in her range for too long.
One of the hardest ADCs to lane against. He can dash out of the hooks easily, out poke you like crazy, and make your life terrible. Its like he has some sort of grudge, huh? Just try to avoid his poke, and make sure if you are low, you have somthing blocking his ult.
Squishy with no escapes. She has pretty strong poke, but she will usually lose long fights. Hook her in and take her down!
I have not fought enough Quinn bottom lanes to give advice, sorry!
She has a very strong early game, and can poke you consistantly without worry. You cant hook her very easily, due to her spell shield, and she can even win a longer engage. Ask for a gank if you can.
See tips for Kalista
Hard poke with his Q, but that aside, a fairly easy lane.
Just...try not to let her snowball? Vayne dosent really win lanes, she just bides her time until her godlike late game powers show themselves.
Try to beat her early game before she gets her range. Be wary of her jumps. Flaying her or hooking her after she uses her explosive shot can prevent her from stacking her autoattacks on it.
Basically, he can hook you or your adc and hurt them hard, but you cant hook him without risking his damage. Avoid his grab at all times.
Bard is, at the time I write this, a very low damage champion early game. He is squishy and easy to poke, with mana issues early game. Push hard and steadily, and he wont be able to fight back.
Braum isnt really a threat, so much as an annoyance. His kit pretty well counters yours. His passive prevents you from hooking him without massive risk, his shield blocks your hook, and his jump prevents you from isolating the enemy adc. Try to poke the adc, as poking braum is pretty much useless.
See tips for Bard.
Karma doesnt really support very well in the traditional sense of the word, but she has more than enough damage to make up for that. Try to avoid her skillshots, and dont let her stun you with her mantra-boosted link.
Poke her down. If she gets your adc with her zenith blade, hook her away from him. She cant do much to beat you, as long as you keep your adc safe.
She is tankier than she seems, and does a fair amount of damage, but after she uses her polymorph, she cant help her adc very well, so play to that weakness and take them down!.
Usually, the support is a threat because of how well they help the adc. Morgana is a threat all her own. Her Q traps you in place for long enough that your poke and run can turn into a poke, get snared, and die if you get hit. She does tons of damage and can black shield to prevent your hook. If you dodge her Qs and juke the shield, you can win easily, but if you cant, its bye-bye thresh.
Nami is squishy. Most ADCs are squishy. If you engage hard, they will go down fast. Just beware- if you get bubbled, you are very vulnerable, and so is your ADC.
Basically the same as blitzcrank, but with less damage and far, far more health. He can engage hard, so be wary.
Dont let her poke you, and you are fine. If you can force a fight, you will win almost every time.
She doesnt really do much except stop your poke from hurting as much. Avoid her skillshots or shw will heal herself. Without that heal, she will have very little sustain.
Basically a weaker form of leona, but with a heal.
You are the better thresh! You can do it!
I cant really give you tips here, I still havent figured out how to win this matchup. If you figure it out, tell me!
Tristana: Thresh can CC them while she stacks her Explosive shot and AAs them to death.
Caitlyn: Poke-city! Also, you can hook or flay the enemy into her traps, chaining several CCs.
Kalista: Her poke is amazing, but if you can CC them, she can spear them enough that her rend will REALLY hurt. Not only this, but her ult combined with yours can be an amazing way to teamfight.
Your lantern can collect souls.
You can throw your lantern to the jungle for an easy gank.
If you throw your lantern behind you, then hook an enemy and leap to them, you and your adc can cover a lot of ground, very fast.
Throw your lantern in front of a fleeing enemy, not on them. Otherwise they will run by it.
At the beginning of a game, remind your ADC about the lantern.
If your adc is in trouble and low on health, dont forget the shield your lantern gives, even if it cant help the adc escape.
You can use your hook+leap to cross jungle walls, including baron/dragon pits. Hooking+Leaping to the dragon after throwing a lantern to the ADC can make for an easy steal.
If you are going to leap to a hooked enemy, waiting until the hook is almost over before leaping gives you precious seconds of added CC.
Hook+Leaping into a fight, followed by an ult and a flay, can easily win a fight for your team.
Hooking an enemy is NOT ALWAYS A GOOD THING! Hooking a Fiora, for instance, gives her a perfect chance to ult you and your friends. Be wary of the enemies abilities before tossing a hook.
Flashing into range for a hook can allow you to secure a kill on even the most distant enemies.
