Whats better than a devil you don't know? the one you do! Cheesing invades against him on his first clear is very efficient and anti shield and anti heal items are very good too, if you can cait him and be sure to be close to walls if you can jump them.
Amumu
It is very easy to deal with, one AP resistance item and he won't do much against you anymore of course he have some great ganks but you farm better than him and can countergank him very easily.
Bel'Veth
She is a Hypercarry and gives quite a lot of trouble to Udyr, Frozen heart will be the best item to do against her after you finish your standard item BUT you really need to stun her when she enters the ground because its allready hard to deal with her and if you don't cancel that ability of her you gonna have a much harder time, also she chan jump walls all the time and has 4 dashes! so its hard to keep up with her. All of this also is the same for Master Yi
Briar
Briar is very much like Warwick, early bramble will be good and be carefull on early game because she is very strong, she can also clear dragon very early so keep a ward there but if your bot lane isn't able to help you don't even bother.
Diana
Oh season 2022 was fun I needed to deal with her almost every match but right now not only she is very rare to see but also much more easy to deal, Frozen heart wont protect you from her damage but if most of her team is AD still do FH after Jak'Sho because she AA a lot too.
Ekko
Different from AD assassins AP assassins are much easier to deal with Udyr, beware early invades on your first clear and you will be allright but like all assassins if he gets fed it will be very hard to deal with him. Same for Elise and Evelynn.
Elise
She is very annoying but facing her is easy because of awakened E, she is sliperry tho and will run from you quite easily but beware of early invades on your first clear and you should be fine. Same for Ekko and Evelynn
Evelynn
Her charm is very easy to predict just use your awakened E if needed and beware when you getting low because she can finish you with her ult very easily, she also will also steal a lot of your camps if you don't farm them so keep farming. Same for Ekko and Elise.
Fiddlesticks
Fiddlesticks is a meta omnipresent champion, he is very easy to invade but he is much better than Udyr in everything BUT 1v1s. To deal with Fiddlesticks you will need to rely on your macro skills, best way to punish him is stealing his camps when possible.
Gragas
He is annoying to deal with because its very hard to catch him but if he doesn't get fed it shouldn't be a problem for you.
Graves
Just like Lee Sin be very carefull with a early invade because that will punish you to the point the game will become 100% more hard, he is not hard to catch but can jump walls and also have tons of damage I just recomend you to play with your team or will be getting picked off very easily.
Hecarim
He farms as fast as you and he gets very strong as the game progresses but you can wall him quite easily, on the early game it will be very easy to deal with him so take advantage of that, try punishing him by stealing camps because its very effective.
Ivern
Its a Easy matchup but he steals camps very easily so keep farming, also be carefull for a cheese first camp steal some iverns do.
Jarvan IV
Jarvan is a hard matchup because Udyr can't catch with his tempo, his damage is big and even tho 1v1s are Udyr favoured he can kill you sometimes and when things go wrong for him he just scapes, try playing around objectives because those are the only times you will be able to respond to his gank with an easy prediction.
Karthus
Karthus is a fragile AP champion who have a INSANE clear speed but you can deal with him quite easily just be carefull with invades if he is running with exhaust.
Kayn
Red Kayn is very hard to deal both AD and AP/TANK builds will have a very hard time with him because Red Kayn is just good against tanks and he can easily avoid your awakening and scape you very easily by jumping wall with Q or walking them with E.
Blue Kayn in the other hand is just slippery and not hard to deal at all. Flash is a great option instead of Ghost against Kayn, both Red and Blue. Also do oblivion orb instead of bramble vest against Kayn.
Kha'Zix
This is my go for ban on the jungle because he is very popular at all times, Kha'Zix will give you a hard time because he can just avoid you so easily and even invade you early and when dirk is finished, he will allways win smites on objectives because of his insane high damage, aside from counterganking you don't have much to do against this cockroach.
Kindred
This is the hardest matchup for Udyr, it avoids him when needed, it kills him when able, it can steal objectives easily and will abuse invade on you and it just becomes harder and harder of course if you are even you can deal with her on teamfights, she is the worst matchup for Udyr bur since her pickrate and popularity is low I don't ban it that much, when she gets popular you really should ban her.
Lee Sin
If you avoid early invades on your first clear specially and he don't get fed you should deal with him easily but he is like graves just with more mobility, he can ult you and jump walls to avoid you, just be carefull to not be outplayed by him.
Lillia
This will be a very hard matchup if she does Rylai, you can deal with her easily, avoiding her ult is easy but she runs more than you while giving damage so just like Singed don't stay to much time following her.
Maokai
Udyr have a very easy time against tanks and Maokai is no exeption, he is gonna have a hard time trying to get you off him and his R is very easy to avoid.
Master Yi
Just like Bel'Veth Yi is a hard carry and has a key moment that you need to stun him or the matchup will be very hard to you, just like bel'veth FH will gut his damage by a lot so do that item.
Nidalee
Beware early invades on first clear and if she is not getting fed just farm and you will beat her.
Nocturne
His Ult will make him a hard guy to deal with, also he can avoid your stun and fears you very easily but nothing that a FH can't deal with.
Nunu & Willump
Easy matchup, he spam ganks so ping your team so they don't get ganked a lot and it will be eaaasy to deal with him just be very carefull when smiting a objective with him close because he steal is very easy with bite+smite.
Poppy
Unlike most jungle tanks Poppy can actually do a lot of damage and her ult even tho easily avoidable will take you out of objectives and you will lose them, try baiting her Qs and carefull with stunning her with her barrier up because yes Udyr E is considered a dash.
Rammus
Just do AP/TANK build and this matchup will be very easy.
Rek'Sai
She is a dangerous jungler, her ganks are fatal and so is her invades, but if you are very carefull on early game the other game stages are much easier.
Rell
Eh just like any tank she is easy to deal with.
Rengar
A good rengar will be a EXTREME+++ Threat at least you can scale and deal with him, also your R will give him a hard time.
Sejuani
Udyr daughter can be challenging when she is a popular pick, she is just a very great jungler but easier to deal with since she is a tanky champion.
Shaco
Frozen heart and he will do nothing to you, unless he is fed of course.
Shyvana
You need to have dragon warded at all times and if your bot lane is having a hard time this matchup will be a very hard one, if you can't fight for dragon punish her by stealing camps and giving advantages to the other lanes on the map.
Skarner
Some tenacity and everything will be fine against Skarner, wonder how it will be after his rework tho!
Taliyah
First of all remember your E is a dash so you will get stunned if you stun someone while on her rock terrain ability, if you get to her wich is not hard she isn't able to do much and you can tank her Q with your shield to save yours allies.
Trundle
On 1v1s the troll allways wins!
If Udyr is coward and play cordinated with his team he can put the troll to run!

He is easy to deal with on any build but botrk makes him annoying, awakened W is key and his ganks are very easy to predict.

Volibear is rare to see in the jungle but its a very hard matchup because he can have much more impact than you in the game if he plays well, also no 1v1 because you won't win, don't let he snowball and you will be fine.
You uses his powers on your Q so of course he would be stronger than you!
Warwick
He is a early game bully so if you and your team can keep safe and farm he won't be a problem at all, early bramble vest and remember good chunck of his damage is AP so be carefull not to go full armor.
Wukong
Wukong is annoying to deal with because of his armor reduction and also is very elusive so he can avoid you very easily, be carefull in times he is strong because he will cause lots of problems!
Xin Zhao
Xin Zhao is a mix between Jarvan and Lee Sin, his tempo is hard to deal with and he can invade and fight you on the early game with ease so if you aren't carefull he will be extremely hard to deal, good thing no ones remember him.
Zac
As a tank Zac is easy to deal with it but the problem here is that his ganks are easy to apply and very hard to counter it, tell your laners to ward places they normally wouldn't and spam ping them if they are to close to the enemy tower.

Just ban him you won't win him no matter what, his E literally counters your entire champion, I perma ban him because not only he hardcounters Udyr but he also have a very high pickrate so its the best ban on top lane for sure.

Aatrox is a easy lane once you get the hang of it and both AD and AP are doable against him but AP will have a much easier time on the mid game tho, if you get some kills early on him he won't be able to sidelane with you so try getting advantage as early as possible and a tip: Allways try avoiding the stun area of his Q even if you are gonna take damage of the non stun area.
Akali
1. Go magic resistance on the small runes
2. Allways go AP against Akali or you will have a very hard time but with AP it will be easy to give damage and sustain against her, awakened W is key to win specially after her 6!
Akshan
You can see this guy on toplane sometimes and there aint much to talk about, its very easy to kill him in a all win with approach velocity and please be carefull with any ranged champion because they can punish you for farming!
Azir
Just like some mage this will be a hard lane for Udyr and I recomend getting teleport and just try to help your team because it will be a farming matchup where you will need to go AP, you can kill him one time and snowball but after some time passes he will win you no matter what and again awakened W is key!

Very easy to deal with, early you kill it easy and late game on AD builds she needs to do some very big brain play to win you.

This matchup is not possible to CHEESE FIRST BLOOD and it will be a hard one, try just to farm until you have both trinity and hullbreaker when you have these 2 you should have a chance against Darius and after that point it will become progressively easier to deal with him.
Dr. Mundo
Blade of the ruined king first item and don't let he hit you with to much Qs or you going to have a hard time against him so try staying in the middle of the wave and after lvl 6 dont go all in on Mundo until you have your botrk.
Fiora
You can't CHEESE FIRST BLOOD against good fioras and this will be a hard lane if you die one time, you really need to be carefull with her W because its not used only against your stun but she can avoid all the damage of a awakened Q for example, must say AP builds have a much easier time against her tho but as the game progresses AP builds will become more and more useless against her meanwhile AD is the opposite.
Gangplank
A good gangplank know how to farm safely and will just bully you, there is not so much ways to win this lane because he will and I repeat HE WILL scale more than you, you may kill him sometimes early but it will not matter so much, in this matchup its KEY to abuse the bushes!
Garen
DONT GO BOTRK AGAINST GAREN YOU WONT HAVE HEALTH AND HE WILL JUST ULT YOU. With that said just be carefull with his Ult try using Awakened W so his R isn't much of a problem to you.
Gnar
This is a lane you can win but it will be very hard because he is both ranged and slippery, if you somehow can get close to him and keep that up you can kill him IF he is on his ranged form so be very carefull with his Monster form you will get stunned and you will die, the best moment to kill him is when his moster for just ends and swifties is great against him.
Gragas
You can't kill him, you can catch him, so just try sticking to farming and please go magic resistance on the small runes, malmortius can be very handy here but he still can avoid you easily.
Gwen
AD Udyr can deal with her just be carefull and try baiting her Q when she has 4 stacks, if you manage to bait it just go all in right after, early game is easy peazy but AP builds will have a hard time against it. Go ap resistance on small runes against her.
Illaoi
One of the hardest matchups for Udyr she can put you under your tower and you will keep there without much to do, you need to dodge her E and try abusing her pre 6 because it will be the times you will be able to kill it.
Anathema's can be very handy against her!
Irelia
Do a early warden's mail, keep with your normal core build and steelplates can also be very usefull, with that she is very easy to deal just be carefull early with her full stacks and abuse that lvl 1!
Jayce
Jayce is a lot like gangplank in the sense that he can punish you without getting close, you need to abuse you W on this lane and never be less than half health or he will kill you, early warden mail and abusing bushes can get him killed tho making it easier than gangplank.
K'Sante
Early warden mail and go BOTRK and this matchup will be ok, frozen heart is very good against him after you finish your core build.
Kayle
Just like gangplank and Jayce you need to abuse bushes, you can kill her very easily before lvl 6, after lvl 6 you still can kill her until she is 11, after her 11th level you wont kill her more unless she is without Ult and you abuse bushes, Anathemas is very good against her.
Kennen
This champ will punish you for his mistakes, strange right? but yeah thats what he does, you can't catch him and he can dive you quite easily, since he is manaless your W wont be abusable here but if you manage to get a lead on him wich is quite hard you can deal with it much easier. Go magic resistance against him.
Kled
Early warden's mail, dodge his abilities and beware his mount meter with all that you should have a not so hard time against him, AP builds will deal much easier with him than AD ones tho.
Malphite
Against this rock just go AP build because on AD he is gonna give you a HARD TIME, sorry but he caps you attack speed and is a walking fortress so just go AP and it will be easy. Go magic resistance runes against this one.
Maokai
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Probably the easiest matchup there is.
Mordekaiser
First item malmortius and do the core build he won't be able to do much
when laning just bait his Q and don't let he cook you with his Q and you will be fine. when malmortius or even hexdrinker is done he cant ult you because if he does he dies.
Nasus
Botrk first item against this one and he is a harder time because his slow gives him such a easy time to run from you, after lvl 6 just wait till botrk and don't let him scale so much try punishing him early as much as you can.
Olaf
There aint much to do, if he Qs you he just needs to click on you and he can do a chocky milk because he will kill you, go AP and try helping your team after you finish 2 armor items you shouldn't have much of a hard time against him anymore but still won't be able to kill him.
Ornn
GO MAGIC RESISTANCE ON SMALL RUNES, do botrk first item and you will be fine, also beware his W try dodging it allways because its his main damage ability.
Pantheon
A good pantheon will punish you without being on your range you can kill him early and if you do it will be a much easier lane, as allways abuse your lvl 1 against him and try not using your awakened Q during his E invulnerability, early warden mail is key here, if you win lane he won't be able to sidelane against you and its free towers specially when he goes roaming with his R.
Quinn
As any ranged lane be carefull with farming since she can punish you for farming but quinn is very easy to just go all in on her, awaken your E and its basically a kill allready.
Renekton
This champ doesn't let you abuse your W and if he is a good renekton he will play around his E+Q and you won't be able to do much in lane, of course as the game progresses you will be much stronger than him but it takes a lot of time and he will get all the advantage before that time comes.
Riven
You can't abuse lvl 1 against her but sidelaning against her just becomes easier and easier and unlike darius you can actually avoid her so just be carefull and wait for at least 1 item to kill her.
Ryze
Just like Azir but easier to catch.
Sett
Just farm early game and after 1 item is done he should be very easy to deal with, just dont be agressive early game and it will be fine.
Shen
Just be carefull to not use your awaken when he is aa imune and this lane is easy, he will also roam a lot wich means splitpushing will be very easy.
Singed
He will proxy and there ain't much you can do, he will be much better on fights than you too so the best option is to just go AD against him
Sion
Its a easy lane but he plays to well under turret, he can farm under the tower and defend it with ease and you won't be able to dive him because of how tanky he is, if you go AD the best thing you can do is keep pushing the lane to pressure him to defend his tower and if he don't he looses it, on AP go help your team and he will probably be there too if he is splipushing then again play with your team and kill him on the sidelane, even in AP buildds you shouldn't have a problem killing him it will just take a lot of time.

Do AP against him and help you team and it shouldn't bother you.
Tryndamere
You can kill him pre 6 but IF he gets the first hit just give up, dont keep fighting and please do AP against him because AD will be a very hard time, do a warden mail early and dont go for anti heals, he doesn't heal when fighting only out of fights so its useless.
Urgot
He is both ranged and tanky wich makes it a little hard, you can kill him lvl 1 just beware of bone plating and then you can go all in, do a early warden mail, do steelplate boots and it will make a much easier matchup, both ad and ap deals well with him.
Vayne
punish her as much as you can before her lvl 6, after that you wont be able to.
Volibear
Volibear is unbeatable on a 1v1 on AP build and very hard on a AD one so don't try fighting with him, with AP you will have a much easier time tho because of your slow you can at least avoid him, since you can't kill it go help your team and try to just farm on the lane because he will decay quickly if he doesn't snowball on you.
Warwick
Very much like Volibear, damn furries!
Wukong
You can do both builds against Wukong but AP will have a much easier time, don't stay in the lane when you are mid-low life because he will combo you, on a lvl 1 he can't have the first hit because if he does it when with lethal tempo he will probably win.
Yasuo
Warden mail, trinity, frozen heart, then continue the core build and this is the easiest matchup ever, unless he is good with yasuo wich is rare but even then just dont get caited by him.
Yone
Harder than his brother but its the same build path, but this one doesn't need to be a good player, dodge his abilities whenever you can.
Yorick
Really hard to deal with, you can't side lane against him and will need help of your team to stop him, dodge his E on lane and will become a much easier lane, ALLWAYS GO FLASH AGAINST YORICK.
Zac
Its rare but JUST DONT DIVE HIM and you will be fine, botrk first item and go.
