Hello there and welcome to my first build that is a work in progress now its time for some back story now a long time ago my friend told me that volibear was just a jungle and I shouldn't waste my time with him since I dont like jungling well I bought him any way and I found a way to lane with him and be really good. now with this build you are able to go in any lane hell i'v gone mid with this build [WARNING NOT RECOMMENDED TO GO MID WITH THIS BUILD] but that's because I was forced to take mid. Volibear is one of my favorite champion so please give me support and if you would like to help me out with this build then leave a comment I will read them.

pros
- does decent damage
- very good tank
- because of your ult you will be very good at team fights
- because of your passive and all that health regen you are VERY hard die and with you guardian angle its even harder for you to die.

cons
- its hard to farm early game
- not the fastest bear in the woods
- spells cool down are a little long of a wait

You are going to want these 2 health regen quintessence to give you early game regen and even more late game health regen.


The more health you have the harder it is for you to die.


Cant ever go wrong with more health regen


Having that much more armor early game will make a big difference + that armor makes it that much harder for you to die.

I have not tested all of these runes I mostly went by how it would help of you can think of some better runes then please message me.

the masteries I wont go in to much dental but i have tested them and I picked them for the tankest build.

I like to start off the round with a little health regen to help early game so you wont die.

You always needs some boots.

You want to upgrade your boots to mercury treads because it has magic resist also about every match has a person who can slow stun or something like that this will help you deal with that.

Now you want to buy this item because farming as volibear is a little hard this will help you farm so much also if you use your q on someone with this item it will do some extra damage to the enemy.

Now you will want a force of nature not just 1 but 2 double the health regen and double the magic resist.

Now its time for a warmog more health more health regen also a its a snow ball item and those are usually good.

Now guarding angle is really good lot of armor and by the slim chance you do die, you come right back like nothing happened
just a really good item.

ALTERNATIVE
Instead of a guardian angle you can get a Tornmail now I would recommend this only if the enemy has high dps.

Instead of mercurys treads you can get the ninja tabi now I would only recommend this item if the enemy has no magic dps.
