Teemo, the swift scout

Teemo is a legend among his yordle brothers and sisters in Bandle City. As far as yordles are concerned, there is something just slightly off about him. While Teemo enjoys the companionship of other yordles, he also insists on frequent solo missions in the ongoing defense of Bandle City. Despite his genuinely warm personality, something switches off inside Teemo's mind during combat so that the lives he must end while on patrol do not burden him. Even as a young recruit, the drill instructors and other trainees found it a little disconcerting that, while Teemo was normally charming and kind, he turned deadly serious and highly efficient the minute combat exercises began. Teemo's superiors quickly steered him toward the Scouts of the Mothership, which is one of Bandle City's most distinguished Special Forces unit alongside the Megling Commandos.

While most yordles do not handle solo scouting missions with a great deal of finesse, Teemo is remarkably efficient at them. His record of success in defending Bandle City from infiltrators easily makes him one of the most dangerous yordles alive, though you'd never know it by having a cup of honey mead with him at his favorite inn. Bandle City chose Teemo as their first champion for the League, and he has taken to it like a duck to water. His signature weapon - a blowgun - uses a rare ajunta poison he personally gathers from the jungles of ***ungu. To help cope with his lengthy periods of isolation, Teemo recently struck up a friendship with Tristana, a fellow League champion and fellow member of Bandle City's Special Forces. This connection is healthy for both yordles, though now Valoran's voracious media outlets circulate rumors that the friendship is turning into a romantic relationship. Regardless, Teemo is a crowd favorite in the League of Legends, and a pint-sized foe that many have come to fear.

Defense, defense, defense. Teemo is squishy and since the changes/updates these masteries are more beneficial than the more often used 21/9 combination. 23 in defense and a few in offense is what I roll.

These three items, Berserker's Greaves, Nashor's Tooth, and Rylai's Crystal Scepter, are your core items that I always build.

Starting off I take Boots and 3 Health Potion's. Build the Berserker's Greaves as soon as possible.

Next comes 2 Dagger's and if I have enough gold the Stinger. Follow the Stinger with Meki Pendant and the Amplifying Tome to build the Fiendish Codex. Now Complete Nashor's Tooth.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter is next to be built and I start it with the Blasting Wand. Amplifying Tome and the Giant's Belt follow and for another 700 gold finish Rylai's Crystal Scepter.

At this point things can be built depending on how the other team is comprised. They have a Xin Zhao, Master Yi, Fiora, or any of the other high damage melee champs build a Thornmail and watch as their health goes down to zero while your's is 1/2 or better :).

If they are AP powered like Ahri, Karthus, or Zyra I will substitute the Thornmail for a Force of Nature.

Late game I may swap Berserker's Greaves for Sorcerer's Shoes and the Malady for Wit's End

Use the quick guide above.

Max Toxic Shot first and Move Quick second. The reason I put emphasis on Move Quick is Teemo has no built in escape so I use Move Quick and mushrooms as the escape mechanism. Blinding Dart is good to initiate and the added damage helps.

Teemo's ultimate is the Noxious Trap. Place these everywhere but always carry one. I will explain why later on down the guide.

I always keep 1 Noxious Trap in hand. When I get in a fight I start with Blinding Dart drop the mushroom and keep attacking while moving out/staying out of their range. As soon as the slow from Noxious Trap is gone I hit with Blinding Dart again. If you have the Rylai's Crystal Scepter they are slowed again :) and you may now kill at will.

Remember to stay on the fringes and snipe away at the enemy. Do not initiate! That is the tanks job :).

You will get called a KS'er but it is hard to stop poison from killing someone. This build can carry if you get fed early.

90% of the games I play I get first blood if I am not mid lane and here is how. I follow my tank/melee/support and target the enemy squishiest champion. I hit with Blinding Dart follow with Exhaust, Ignite and another Blinding Dart. Combined with a few basic attacks and a little help from your partner WILL result in a kill.
