Introduction

I would like to start by saying, "Welcome to my Twitch guide!" Please be gentle as this is my first guide. With this guide, I will explain how to play Twitch as an AD carry or AD mid champion. As always, good luck and have fun.

Items and Why We Use Them

I know, I know. Most builds tell you to start with Boots and Health Potion. Since this is generally a common practice, I don't discourage that start. This guide illustrates what has worked well for me. I typically start with a Doran's Blade. Either grab Berserker's Greaves or a second Doran's Blade next; depending on the situation. Next on the list is Bloodthirster and a Phantom Dancer; purchase them in whatever order is best for your style. Next, rush for a second Phantom Dancer or Black Cleaver. The reasons for these items is simple, Twitch is a power house when built AD and attack speed. The added life steal from Bloodthirster and the Doran's Blade gives Twitch great sustain. The Berserker's Greaves and double Phantom Dancers make him an unstoppable damage dealing monster ( Black Cleaver is just a nice way to beef up his damage).

Situational Items:
Depending on how the other team is playing, I usually grab either a Guardian Angel or a Banshee's Veil, choosing the latter if the enemy team is AP heavy. Frozen Mallet is a great way to round off the build. The slow and additional health really help give Twitch an edge in combat.

Skillz That Pay The Billz

Hands down, the best skill to start with is Expunge. With this skill, harassing your opponent is a breeze. Just pop a few basic attacks to add poison markers, then hit Expunge to take off a nice chunk of their HP. I usually unlock Venom Cask second. The slow and additional poison counters from this ability make laning fast and simple. The best advice I have is to follow the skill sequence at the top of this page and alter it to fit your style.

The best sequence for one on one fights: Ambush, basic attacks, Venom Cask as they run away, more basic attacks, and Expunge. In team fights, stay in the back and unleash basic attacks. Use Venom Cask when the opponents group up and Expunge them for major damage. Spray and Pray is a great ultimate, but only use it if the enemy is escaping or in a group to maximize its potential.

Summoner Spells: Dealer's Choice

Summoner spells for Twitch really depend on your play style. I take Ghost to chase down opponents and make a speedy get away. Heal is another great choice for lane sustain early on instead of wasting money on pots. Exhaust is great for picking up kills and Flash can be substituted for Ghost. The key is to do what you know, and try your best. if one strategy doesn't work, try something new.

Closing Remarks

Hope you guys liked this Twitch guide. Just remember to have fun playing him (he is not hard to use or get used to). PLEASE REMEMBER HE IS VERY SQUISHY, WORRY ABOUT LAST HITS EARLY ON AND ENGAGE ONLY WHEN YOU KNOW YOU CAN TAKE THEM!!! Other than that, good luck, have fun, and....Do you smell something?
