I like it - but you need more magic resist. This build probably ends up with around 45 MR, so you'll get torn apart by casters.
Also, try getting Phage a bit earlier to make the slow more useful in mid-game.
and yes you are right. If they are caster heavy you do need to buy a spirit visage at the very least. Maybe a negatron cloak, too. If the game goes on long enough I'd even turn it into a Banshee's Veil.
That or maybe a Guardian Angel depending on their composition.
None of his moves scale with AP so why would you get the Archaic Knowledge Mastery....

Hey, this build is all about exploiting his best feature, the ultimate. Doesn't that benefit from that one point? I'm really not sure where else I would put it otherwise. Masteries aren't my forte. if anyone has a better suggestion lets hear it. xD
