That guide is from Jimmix. My personal guide you find in my signature^^.

It is more about Final Yi and his newest variation.

Well when i first saw the length of the guide i ****ped my pants :P.Anyway i putted it in the FAV so i can read it tommorow cuz i am tired as f@#k^^.Anyway what i would like to say is:The Yi syndrom-I usually get it if i am like 0/3/0 with like 10 creeps farmed in the first 10 mins and ugly zoned out of farming and xp zone witch is easy when your random teammate pics Tryndamere and decides to lane with you....
Now...about the DPS Yi...(this is as far as i got for tonight :D ).
I admit you are a pro with Yi because actually this is sort of the best way to play him if you decide to play dps(Cleanse+Ghost+Ult+Ghostblade). There is really no getting away for anyone!.I usually run so fast that i can catch up with people who flashed through a wall and think they are safe^^
Although...allow me to disagree about somtehing!
I strongly believe that lifesteal do acctually work!.What i do is to wait for cc and knockups or stuff like that to be used and then i charge in and by using all my cooldowns i remain glued to my target(almost all the time i circle and go for the carry)and because of that i just dont die not matter the damage i get onto me!.With the build i use i crit for around 700.I use Execusioners+Bloodthirster witch is actually a nice 33% +.The trick is to hit cleanse the exact time you get stunned. Most people get panicked and they use their cc in the same time so cleanse does the trick(although...**** happens).
Anyway i am out for tonight...and +1!

No offense, but this build only seems to work because you're (or this "JLiberationArmy" person is) <1200 Elo. I simply do not understand all these glass-cannon builds for melee champions who have to be in-your-face to do damage. What's the point of all that damage if you are going to die? If you were a ranged champion, glass-cannon all you want! Glass-cannon builds for melee champions fail even against semi-bad teams. -1

First of all, this is a fine example of something that goes on forever and says nothing important. SO many things are unnecessary and untrue in this guide.

More is not always better.

I have written a second guide, that only goes about the final yi in all his forms.

BTW: XinZhaoPwn is a Trollvoter, which downvotes me at any guides.

How about judging the build for what it is instead of just downvoting because it isn't his?
I am grateful that this build is now on mobafire and I think a lot of people will be grateful as well as they probably don't visit leaguecraft. (Because, you know, leaguecraft sucks ^^)
Unfortunately some of the better guides on leaguecraft have not made it to mobafire yet, so thanks a lot that at least this guide is now available

Someone please tell me how to upvote a guide so I can give this guide the credit it deserves ^^

Found it on leaguecraft a while ago and started using the Lifesteal build and later the Final build.
Both are really great, although I need to do more testing on the Final build.
BTW, what about the change to the Final build with rushing a Frozen Mallet first instead of starting with Dorans Shield? Has that been finally tested yet? Have tried it a couple of times and it seems to work. But I am far from a number cruncher to decide whether its actually worth it or not

Well, Youmuu's maxes your crit chance, gives you armorpen and ad^^. Also the early Brutalizer helps most.

But you shouldn't play this build in realistic games. You need defence^^. Play it to bash noobs or bots.

Or play it for a splitpush yi

"Also you will survive being feasted too even though Feast is true damage, you get a 4% damage reduction due to your mastery."

Actually nothing reduces true damage.

"How to build this:
Step 1: You get a Long Sword and a Health Potion
Step 2: You get boots(either Ninja Tabi or Mercury's Treads)
Step 3: You build your Long Sword into a The Brutalizer
Step 4: Get Infinity Edge(standard, B. F. Sword, Cloak of Agility, Pickaxe)
Step 5: Then you get Youmuu's Ghostblade
Step 6: Zeal
Step 7: Zeal
Step 8: Phantom Dancer
Step 9: Phantom Dancer"

I'd skip the Youmuu, with Highlander and 2 Phantoms, AS is capped/near capped.

May be the best guide(?) ever written, took me like 30 minutes to read and I only had two complaints. As a matter of fact, 1 is just a correction, and the other is just personal preference. Obvious upvote.
