I've seen others build ravenous hydra and was surprised it wasn't on your guide. What do you think of it?

Hello! Thanks for your feedback! Very good remark! I guess you are thinking about the omnivamp when you think about Ravenous Hydra and of course the AoE passive. Both are unnecessary in my opinion on Aatrox, since he has a lot of AoE in his Q The Darkin Blade so no reason to spend gold to get more. Also the healing is massive from his kit, the runes and of course Goredrinker which can heal you to full hp if casted at the right time. Moreover, omnivamp is better for single target abilities because it is only 33% effective for AoE abilities and since Aatrox has no single target abilities the heal will be reduced a lot. Ravenous is a great item, i don't deny that, but there more options to build on Aatrox like some defensive ones because if another slot is taken for something that already Aatrox has, it is kinda of a waste and he will be very squishy. Now, if facing a very squishy enemy team with only one or zero tanks you can easily go for Ravenous Hydra but it is a rare occasion. I hope i covered you! If not feel free to contact me again! Have a great day!
