Choose Champion Build:

  • LoL Champion: Nocturne
    Personal fav Noc build, Attack
  • LoL Champion: Nocturne
    Full AD/Lethality Noc

Introduction

Hello all. I acquired Nocturne awhile back, Id been wanting to try him for a long time because hes sick looking and whenever i play against him he dominates in duels. I had been excited when i first got him, and i wasnt let down when I finally got to try him out. Probably my favorite champion. Ive played almost every champion in the game, and hes one of my favorite. Ill give you some builds ive tried, what I thought about them, the pros, cons, etc!

Runes

So the runes depend on your personal playstyle. The meta atm is mainly for physical damage champs to use lethality. It really depends on you though and how you build. I prefer precision with Lethal tempo, presence of mind, and alacrity. Most prefer Domination runes with Electrocute, sudden impact, eyeball collection, and relentless hunter.

Both work well, The attack speed works well if youre building razor enchant jg item and then guinsoos. The Domination runes work well if your going for the fulll AD/Lethality build. Like i said, The attack speed gettup is my personal fav atm but thats just me. I want to give you all the options, cuz not everyone plays like I do.

Spells

Now spells here are pretty simple obviously.... Playing in jungle you will of course need Smite regardless. Now the second one is up to you. Most (I included) prefer the traditional flash. However, there is the old one trick of using Teleport instead, so you can TP to a position such as a bush your teammates have put a ward i to get in range to ult on someone for ganks. This does work well, but I personally prefer the flash.

Between Dead Mans Plate, Ys Ghostblade, Celerity rune, and then of course if you also go with the domination runes and relentless hunter, you can already move around the map insanely fast so i dont feel like the TP is necessary.

Pros / Cons

Both builds have more pros then cons. The damage on both is great, absoluely outrageous. Really the only con to these builds (and Nocturne in general) is the squishiness. Its build far more for damage output and it shows. Be wary, dont ever initiate a team fight or just ult into the middle of the enemy without your team already there. You will hit the ground so fast your head will spin. But as long as you're not the one being focused or you are in a 1v1, neither build has any real cons. They both make Noc a literal nightmare to face.

In the end, it really dpends on your personal playstyle of hitting fast or hitting hard. Either way, whoever youre hitting is going to go down about as fast with either build.
