Introduction
This build aims to deal 'tons of damage' with the foxy lady
I won't be making this too long, basically just showing the basics which I want to share
On top of the basics I want to point out the most important early misconception about Ahri

Hopefully this build will help some of you out or bring you new ideas on how to play/build Ahri

Not much special here, aiming to have a good ap boost throughout the game
And mana regen, as she can run into mana problems
Mana regeneration yellows
Magic penetration reds
Ability Power per level blues
Ability Power Quints
These are my rune choices
Some other runes that would do good would be
Cool-down Reduction blues
Armor yellows (if you think mana is not an issue)

Pretty standard AP masteries with a little mana regen boost
Adding the buff duration mastery is a nice + too imo
(since blue buff is awesome on Ahri)
You could consider, changing the Utility side points, into defense and magic resist in the defense tree
(Do keep flash mastery though if you take
Flash)

I aim at highest damage while getting the sustain from spell vamp
The tactic with Ahri is basically hit and run, so I consider spell vamp the best form of sustain on Ahri, with the high burst damage from
Fox-Fire (every 3 seconds)
I would say that if you are trying to tweak some defense into this build, then at least keep the following
Core items:
Rabadon's Deathcap (Rack up that AP ratio)
Will of the Ancients (Adds great sustain on Ahri, and helps out the team too, for a small price. This is the best Ahri item out there)
Void Staff (If they start stacking MR it should be in your core, most of the time)
While getting your preferred
Defense items: like
Banshee's Veil(your amazing MR item and that passive + your dashes will make escaping easy)
Frozen Heart (defense, amazing passive, CDR!!!)
You could consider
Lich Bane instead of
Rabadon's Deathcap if you need that 30MR earlier while still getting a huge damage boost
Rylai's Crystal Scepter (Rylai's gives you the extra healt and utility to get anything done. Having spell vamp, quadra flash and slow will make you one slippery fox)
Void Staff and items mentioned past it are all optional
Other good items:
Morello's Evil Tome (Almost a must have without
Clarity spell, it has all of what Ahri needs, but not in a huge quantity, get this item if you can't afford those big cash items)
Deathfire Grasp (good active, AP and CDR)
Quicksilver Sash (remove them pesky debuffs)
Zhonya's Hourglass (Defense, AP, good active)
Mercury's Treads (vs CC heavy teams, you could grab a
Moonflair Spellblade too if you don't want to change boots)

This is my personal choice on a lot of mana hungry AP champs
Ahri can burst with

Great CC ability (when you land it)
4 flashes with ult+flash
A whole new level of tower-diving
High skill synergy for instant burst

Her looks
Her voice
Cons:
Squishy
Mana is an issue now and then (blue buff is awesome on Ahri)
Charm is often hard to land (usually best to do it point blank and treat it as a stun)

Great CC ability (when you land it)
4 flashes with ult+flash
A whole new level of tower-diving
High skill synergy for instant burst
Range

Her voice
Cons:

Finishing off run away champions with her

(add the other 2 spells on top of it if you must)
Baiting enemies to chase you into
Spirit Rush,
Charm,
Orb of Deception and
Fox-Fire
(anyone who chases an Ahri that has maxed her
Fox-Fire better have a death wish anyway)
She could go Solo-top or Mid (haven't tested her in the jungle
(but starting with
Fox-Fire could possibly make her a decent jungler)
Protecting allies. With a well placed
Charm you could turn the fight around completely
Initiating with a successfully landed

Preparing the kills with

Finishing off run away champions with her


(add the other 2 spells on top of it if you must)
Baiting enemies to chase you into




(anyone who chases an Ahri that has maxed her

She could go Solo-top or Mid (haven't tested her in the jungle
(but starting with

Protecting allies. With a well placed

Ahri's
Fox-Fire, is a priority, the skill prioritizes champions, same as her ultimate
Spirit Rush
Her
Fox-Fire has very high base damage and has good scaling
(3 hits of
Fox-Fire on same target = 2 full damage hits instantly, without aiming)
Her
Fox-Fire is fully in sync with her
Spirit Rush and everything is in Sync with her
Charm skill
The only skill that feels somewhat lacking in her kit is her passive, which still has its uses
