Biggest threat are strong early-game champions like Volibear, who can freeze the wave for you and get free kills early. Other than that, pretty much every matchup is somewhat playable if you learn them.

Lil words from my side
First of all, HUGE shoutout to CryoBeats who made me play Thresh Top.
I picked him up about a year ago, playing him in normals. You wouldn't really expect it (like your opponents), but Thresh actually deals a good chunk of damage pretty quick and you can outdamage some enemies early with E passive and Grasp procs, especially after Heartsteel.
To be fair, it's definitely not meta and definitely not a pick you should pick up in Ranked instantly.
Big advantage is: People dont expect you. Most Top Laners are dumb enough to just run you down and u can get a free hook + E under tower.
Just try to play the early game safe, getting your CS, after Bami's or Tiamat ur a champion.
It's hella fun and definitely worth playing! Trust me!
