This is a Guide on how to build a top lane Master Yi. the idea is to farm and focus last hitting early game so you can get the gear you need to duel any top laner. this build idea is to make sure you can chase down the enemy and finish him/her off. Or if need be, escape from a dire gank.

I like to start with a Doran's and hp pot. then grab a second one when you go back. However your first 2 items should be BOTRK, and Ghostblade. The combo make it really easy combined with your ult to chase down the target to get the kill or escape when you need to as well as gain life back with life steal and the increased attackk speed. Trinity force is an amazing item for Yi since he will get crit, hp, ad, movement speed, and the power of the sheen. after thses 3 items you can choose based on the situation. However getting 1 more item with crit like IE or PD should be a good idea.

Farming is very Important with master Yi, good thing he can do very well. what I think is a good idea is to try to keep the minions in the middle of the lane so you don't overextend and risk getting ganked. however, if the enemy champion pushes hard then use your alpha strike to push it back into the middle of lane. after you get a kill in your lane, if possible try to take the enemy jungle minions closest to you.

-team fights well -People will rage at you for playing Yi
-great champion for new players to league
-Once you get a few kills in you, you pretty much won the game.
