LoL Champion Lore: Tryndamere

There are those who choose not to live in one of the great city-states of Valoran. Instead, they live in remote locales, often as part of a nomad or barbarian tribe. While perils abound in these untamed lands, there is also great freedom in being removed from the politics of Valoran. Tryndamere was born a member of one of these barbarian tribes in northern Valoran. Even as a young boy, it was obvious that he would grow in martial prowess to become one of his clan's greatest warriors. However, as his clan moved south between the Howling Marsh and the Ironspike Mountains, they came across strangers in black garb, brandishing symbols of a beast's skull. Despite Tryndamere's pleas, his elder went out to speak with the strangers; they cut him down mercilessly. From there, they began to slaughter every man, woman, and child in the clan. Tryndamere, the sole survivor, hid under the bodies of his dead parents. Upon their bloodied corpses, he swore eternal vengeance on those who took his people from him - the assassins of Noxus.

To train himself, Tryndamere voluntarily served under all the great chieftains of the barbarian tribes, learning the ways of the barbarian warrior. Not only did this make him the man he needed to become in order to exact his revenge, it has also garnered him friends and allies among the most powerful barbarian leaders of Valoran. This recently allowed him to unite the barbarians into a single, powerful force - all under his command. Now he has joined the League of Legends to earn enough influence to find a permanent home for his people... and to slake his rage on the champions of his hated foes.

"The next true power will come from the far north, and it will involve Tryndamere - one way or another." - Graccus Mightstone, League Senior Political Scholar.

Introduction

Ok I just want to start off by saying this build is designed to give you a better chance at getting those early ganks and regular kills. There is alot of builds out there and this one truly works well. Now you also have to remember that you are not an off tank for god sakes. Dont just dive in a fight at level 3 and expect to kill everybody and get out alive. You need to play smart until you have your ult. This is a great build for 5v5 and 3v3 but in 3v3 this is not the best build for jungling. There will be a 2nd build available soon for 3v3 Jungling ranked. Further down the list i will give you some very good optional end game items you can swap in and out with.

Please Try the build out first before Voting. And if you dont mind it takes awhile to make these Builds so please log in and vote if you can.

Runes

For runes I think your gonna want to go straight Crit chance Greater Mark of Critical Chance Greater Seal of Critical Chance and Crit damage Greater Glyph of Critical Damage. And toss in a little Armor Pen Greater Quintessence of Desolation. But you can pick up armor pen with some items also. The biggest thing is your STARTING off with high crit rate and crit damage. Most people are not going to have that much armor at the beginning so this leaves you with an opportunity to pick up few easy unexpected kills.

Id say 75% of the time either team surrenders before you truly hit your potential. So if you go with some of these other crazy builds then you will be a late bloomer. I recommend high crit chance and crit damage on start with runes and items to get you those first 3 kills at the beginning of the game you so desperately need. once you hit 6 kills at beginning to mid game you will Dominate the rest of the match because you are Fed. Its the difference between going 6/2 and 20/2.

Masteries

Basically all the way down the offense and little defense to get you started in a match. You can always change your item purchase alittle if your up against alot of AP. At least with this setup you are good to get a few kills to begin with and when Tryn gets Fed it aint purty.

Summoner Spells

Exhaust and Flash. I cant tell you how many times it saves my *** or allows me to catch someone getting away.

Pros / Cons

Pros
Can basicly 2 shot people late in game.
Can get in and out of a fight Alive.
Easy kills early game allowing you to be fed.

Cons
Squishy to everybody

Items

Ok its best to start off with Brawler's Glovesand maybe 2 Health Potion
Once you have leveled few times you should have all 3 basic abilities.
Remember your Mocking Shout allows you to know if some one is lurking in the bushes near by. Pay attention to it. Try and snag a kill by level 3 so you can race back and buy Berserker's Greaves
Once you get back try not to engage your opponents until they have pushed out a bit.. Just farm some minions. They will forget how hard you hit. Even try and run when they get close. Soon they will try and gank you. Big mistake. Drop the squishy and flash out. Now buy a Zeal once you get enough.
Run back and spam your spinning slash along the way. Once you hit level 6 you can now turret dive as long as you have decent health and flash is up. Snag few more kills and go grab your B. F. Sword.
Now you may be level 8 by time your getting this item which is just fine.
Next work on getting your Infinity Edge just do the recipe if you want.
Cloak of Agility -> B. F. Sword -> Pickaxe -> Infinity Edge
It will be awhile before you get this unless your just KSing everybody.
Once you have IE then get Phantom Dancer.
You really need to get Black Cleaver
or at least a Zeke's Harbinger and then follow up with a Bloodthirster if you want.
Or a Last Whisper.
I recommend Berserker's Greaves, Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer, Black Cleaver, Bloodthirster, Last Whisper you hit the hardest with this combo it seems late game. 1450+ damage per hit.

Farming

Ok you really want to farm as hard as you can with Tryn he has an expensive build and you need your levels fast early game. Mid game you can focus on Ganks because you are more concerned with Gold at that point than anything. Take out dragon when ever ya walk by him and snag Back door turrets. Never stop killing is the main thing. If no enemys kill minions or steam role through the jungle. Do NOT waist your time chasing people all over the map. Try and stay kinda close to middle during mid to late game. You Need those gank kills. Even if its an assist thats still 150 Gold.

Summary

Basically this build allows you to come out strong in the beginning and snag a few kills and once you do that you now have boots and starting to build your infinity edge. Snag a few more and its over. Once Tryn gets fed a few times he will crush the enemy team the rest of the game.
And if your lane starts getting Armor then switch lanes and totally make them waste their money.
