Champion Build Guide
When to go in:
* When your support go in
* When someone is alone
* When you have a feeling that you will win because you're stronger (better items, higher level, have ultimate)
Vs Zed and Rengar:
Buy stopwatch!! use it when rengar jumps on you or when zed appears from his ult on you.
Save flash for teamfights.
In teamfights:
Identify the key threats. Then wait until they are used and appear.
Adapt to their builds:
If they have super high armor, then buy last whisper second item.
Pay attention to flash/exhaust/items/ key CC and one-shot abilities.
Dont rush to assist your team, do it patiently. wait for the enemy to use their CC until you appear.
Its high elo to be scared of zed and play according to the enemies threat level.
* Threat itself
Twitch's self-peel:
Q and run
W to slow
General high elo tips:
use your abilities quickly
be aware that the enemy might have flash and can use it to get off a cc on you.
How to learn twitch:
0-25 games: Focus on being aware of the enemies' threat abilities and whether they've been used.
Watch the map at all times to avoid nasty ganks on you
25-40:
Think of positioning before fights.
40+
Gank mid
Matchups:
Dont feel bad for losing on Twitch. it takes a long time before you get good. The most important thing is to commit to the one-trick. dont play anything else than twitch for at least 50 games to see improvement.
Summoner spell usage:
This is controversal but dont use your heal on anyone other than yourself. the reason is that your KDA is the most important thing to not tilt in this game, so use it for yourself not your support.
Use your flash before taking any damage, and use your heal as soon as you commit to the all-in and have full hp - the amount you get from heal.
Use heal before taking damage to get the speed if its crucial to stay alive.
What do i focus on?
Focus on not dying. Above all else, never die. 0 Deaths. Get into the habit of sacrificing your teammates to the blood god.
New info:
Understanding bot lane:
Bot lane is generally decided by the support, so don't be sad if you lose.
*Melee supports doesnt have the best level 1 tools, so they are weak and lose lane control versus ranged supports who can play agressively on lvl 1.
why is this important?
It is because of the level 2 all-in which you want to utilize.
You want to have a generaly understanding of in what stages of the game your support is good.
When to play aggro and when to play safe:
* Look at the wave. If it's big for us then we have more dps than them and benefit from longer fights. (Not useful if you might get nuked on lvl 6)
General ideas when playing adc:
* It is a 2v2 so you need to understand the synergies of both you and your support, as well as the enemy bot lane now.
* if your support are temporarily far away from you, you have to play far out of reach from the enemies CC and flash+engage range. this might mean losing 1-6 cs but that's okay because dying or getting chunked is worse.
* Never fight without a teammate in between who you're fighting and yourself.
learn to recognize when damage is free and take advantage of it.
What is your job?
generate as much gold as possible and become the biggest carry. scale up
like uzi said: "adc is like a puppy in early game, which needs to be guarded. it then becomes a wolf in late game"
First item:
Dorans Shield - If you're in a heavy poke situation when you lack pressure to make engages happen. the health regen and damage reduction is useful
Dorans Blade - Outside of heavy poke situations, you
Heal is standard, unless you play with soraka, in which case you play barrier.
Focus:
Usual is front-to-back. Kill the front line first until you get the back line. If you are lucky though you may have a chance to appear in range of the enemy ad or ap carry with a teammate in front of you, in which case of course focus them. but remember to wait for the enemy spells or they will jump you instantly and your sweet carry moment turns into a feeder moment.
Biggest focus:
* Always watch minimap
* If you feel like youre watching your team die while you sit invisible on the side, waiting for zed to use his ult - then you're doing it right.
*
Junglers who don't need leash:
Lee
Graves
Kayn
Olaf
Shaco
Ivern
Udyr
Warwick
Xin'Zhao
Zac
What happens if you don't leash?
You can push the wave more and get good recall.
Cheater's recall:
Slow-push the first two waves, then fast push the third wave and recall.(buy cull)
* Recall with canon wave on the way.
* Dont push if you're behind
*
Poking doesnt matter if they are going to recall anyway. Constantly fight back the minions if your opponent just won a trade and wants to shove and recall.
Enemies without flash are vulnerable to ganks
Going for damage that doesnt matter since you're going to recall anyway is super useless and costs low elo players their flashes and item advantages.
If you concede lane control and let the enemy do what they want, you're bound to have your support get themself killed eventually, even if theyre yuumi.
...
In early game, vs brand your objective is to not get hit. if you get hit by brand combo it's over.
When fighting early vs brand, you want to focus him so you dont get hit by his combo. the adc is not as important as it doesnt have as high dps and cc.
have the lane on your side, until you
try to see when you are going to do a flash+cc combo, and move away so you dont have to waste flash.
at lvl 6 with 1 kill you can start 1v1 the kai'sa.
focus on maintaining the pressure, by pushing the lane all the way in and go roam. do this on every wave. use ur w and e to do it.
practice letting free kills go if you need another person to pull it off, instead of risking not getting it as well as getting chunked and cced.
when u have botrk:
let your support bard engage, pop Q, and pop ultimate. that is all you need. with botrk+ult your 1v1 potential is unlimited on the enemy bot lane. because you can stand really far away. (remember who has flash and not!!)
now you can start ganking people who are low on hp or 1v1 them, especially their top lane or mid lane or jungler.
botrk+huricaan is a really good powerspike, as well as when you get your infinity edge.
pop ur ultimate early, if you are ashamed or unsure because you're using your ult excessively on every engage instead of saving it for a good fight - you're doing it right. its high elo playstyle
the sooner you get the crit, the better it is.
remember to use ur q in teamfights if you get a kill because it resets on kills so you get more attackspeed and thus DPS.
dont forget the signature move of hiding on bush. practice predicting where laners are going to go and the pop ur ult instantly. dont wait for ur botrk just go with ur ult and teammate.
