Introduction
Welcome to my Shyvanna guide, this guide is ment for an aggressive player that like fairly high damage and survivability. Hope you enjoy!
Lore:
There are those few dragons in Runeterra who have mastered the intense magical energies that course through their unique anatomies, evolving into an elusive Celestial Dragon. These powerful and enigmatic creatures spend most of their time hidden away from the lands of men. However, there are those who find themselves drawn to civilization and who take on human forms to immerse themselves in the world of humans. Occasionally, one finds itself drawn to the spirit of a human and they have relations. Sometimes, in the slimmest of odds, the union will bear fruit and that offspring will be one of the few half-dragons to have graced Runeterra. Shyvana is one such creature, born to a simple Demacian farm-girl and her Celestial Dragon father. Left to be raised by her mother, her oddities were something that couldn't be hidden from her community, though she was protected by her family. Once her family had perished in disaster, she was left alone for the first time – truly alone. Shyvana quickly became an outsider and it wasn't long before the community's fear began to put her in danger. Facing mortal danger at the business end of an angry mob, she was rescued by the traveling noble, Jarvan Lightshield. The noble was a man who strangely knew exactly what she was and took her under his wing. It wasn't long before she was offered a chance to use her natural skills in the service of Demacia, as Jarvan initiated her as one of the elite guard. Following Jarvan into the League of Legends was only natural.
Shyvana is a fierce warrior, with the blood of one of the most powerful magical predators in all creation flowing through her veins. Unlike some of her fellows, she is a subdued personality – somber, cool, and collected. However, when the moment strikes, her draconian heritage manifests and there are few that can stare her in the eyes and not feel the primal urge to flee.

Runes are fairly straightforward.
Marks for more Armour Pen for late game presence.
Seals of resilience for more early game sustain and overall survivability.
Glyphs of warding for again early game sustain and overall survivability.
Quints I have 2x Fortitude for again lane sustain and to add a little bit of beef.
1x Swiftness great for aiding in chasing down your prey comes in handy trust me.
Other runes that work would be Attack Speed and Damage but the trade off rinks your early lane and makes you more prone to ranged harass.

Masteries are fairly straight forward 21-0-9: your promoted to hit hard and hit often trust me there's a reason.
Offense: Shyvanna has many ways to close the distance and the Offensive boost shows any champ that she can hit like a truck when she needs. Get in chase them down and get back, all done quick and efficient.
Utility: Take reduced death and ghost, makes chasing down easy and getting back to defend you nexus faster. more exp to lvl sooner and more gold since your build is a little expensive.

The build you see up there is a fairly standard one. with that said shyvanna has many situational items she needs in order to be effective.
Witts end: Alot of AP giving you trouble, prioritize this after you mallet.
Atmas: AD giving you trouble again prioritize this after mallet.
Quicksilver: only if the enemy has alot of CC. I don't usually get this since your usually in the fight a little after it has begun.
AP items: To me Rageblade and other items are not needed at all. the take away from the build or limit you in one way or another. sticking to one solid style of damage is key and as of now id definitely suggest it being AD.

Maxing out burnout first gives you more chase and overall dps, Twin Bite is you mini-nuke and should be gotten next. Flame breath is last to lvl due to its AP scale and the fact that your a champ that requires attacking not high AP burst.
Times to ULT:
1) Large clump of enemies in a team fight.
2) Secure a needed kill.
3) Escape*
*many ppl don't realize dying does more than feel ****ty. if you are worth gold and are low. it is ALWAYS better to get away and if that means blowing your ult to do so then do it.
-The Good-
Ignite/Flash or Ghost
Exhaust/Flash or Ghost
Cleanse/Flash or Ghost
-The Bad-
Exhaust/Ignite - I dunno why but it has been used alot recently....i don't believe in limiting survivability for a higher chance for a kill. this has a high chance to make you a target.
Teleport/Flash or Ghost - Great for getting places if needed, but you are already very mobile, if your in a rush use your "W" and you will get there generally in time.
-The Ugly-
