I remember how this build got me started off with veigar...
You sir, got me started off from feeding in custom games, to normal match unstoppable-ness.
Never failed to spam the chat with my dearest veigar being legendary.
(Yet to hit level 30, so not ranked matches yet :P)


And i'm sure anyone can tell you've really spent some good time and effort on this build, so keep up the good job and updates!

Learnt alot from this guide, and kicked some serious arse with it too, makes veigar a seriously fun champ to play with imo, tend to pick the mejai's up cos its just too good when everythings going right, thanks for a great guide!

First of all +1, this guide is really good! There are some things i would suggest though. First off, Veigar is a really prominent middle champion. Most champions will be afriad of the 'Event Horison + Dark Matter' combo, that they wont interfere in your farm. Second off, i find Deathfire's Grasp quite useless, unless you're against a REALLY beefy team. My primary build is: Morello's Evil Tome -> Sorcs -> Ages -> (depending on the situation either) Zhonya's Hourglass or Rabadons -> Voidstaff/Abyssal Scepter. With this build Deathfire's Grasp seems useless. At my first coreitem (Morello's Evil Tome) i will hit about 200-250 AP. Mind this happens around level 9-11. This makes Veigars burst HUGE. Then i start building ages for the survivability.
- But, my point is, Deathfire's Grasp isn's veigars bread-and-butter. Veigars bread-and-butter is he AP. If you get underfarmed in a game, you are to be called a "stun-bot".

I just have to comment again. Put veigar on the shelf for a while, then picked him up again just now, using your build. Let's just say they surrendered and i had a score of 15/1/12 :D

interesting build! veigar was my first champ as well, and I still love him/main him, his burst is just incredible ^^ haven't built Deathfire's since my fist couple games tho.

will try out this strategy as soon as the servers are back up, maxing W never occured to me as a smart move because of its manacosts (have only 4 clarity seals + 5 cdr seals trololo) but i will try it out
