Introduction

IVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A GOOD SET OF GAMES TO SHOW THE SCORES BUT NO MATTER WHAT IVE ALWAYS HAD TO RE-PICK CAUSE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO INSTA LOCK IN. RECENTLY IVE BEEN PLAYING MALPHITE, MIGHT DO A GUIDE ON HIM AS WELL. SORRY FOR NOT POSTING ANY SCORES PLEASE BE PATIENT

Hey guys, this is my first guide/build, id like some feed back and what works and what doesnt work. Now this is a build that works for me and may not work for everybody. That being said if you have all the items then you should have around 5k health and around 600ap. This will give you great harassing power and great survivability. Beware your team may fail which causes you to fail.

OKAY IVE PLAYED A TOTAL OF 8 GAMES WITH THIS BUILD AND ONLY LOST ONCE, BUT THAT WAS DUE TO FAIL TEAM FEEDING, AND WHAT I FOUND OUT WAS THAT, IN SKILL ORDER IN SOLO FIGHTS SHOULD BE HEMOPLAGUE, TIDES OF BLOOD, TRANSFUSION, TIDES OF BLOOD, TRANSFUSION, TRANSFUSION THEN SANGUINE POOL FOR SLOW OR GET AWAY! TEAM FIGHTS USE TRANSFUSION, TIDES OF BLOOD, TRANSFUSION AND ONLY USING HEMOPLAGUE WHEN THEY ARE IN A BUNCH OR YOU HAVE THE ADVANTAGE!

OKAY SO DONT SPAM TIDES OF BLOOD EARLY GAME IT WEAKENS YOU AND ONLY USE IT TO LAST HIT MINIONS EARLY GAME, I REPEAT DOOOOO NOOOOOTTTTT SSSPPPPPAAAAMMMMM TIDES OF BLOOD EARLY GAME!!!!!!!

SKILLS:

Crimson Pact, Every 25 points of bonus health gives Vladimir 1 ability power and every 1 point of ability power gives Vladimir 2 bonus health (does not stack with itself).

Transfusion, Vladimir drains life from his target.
Vladimir drains the lifeforce of his target, dealing 70/115/160/205/250 (+0.6) magic damage and healing himself for 17.5/28.75/40/51.25/62.5 (+).
Cost
No Cost
Range
600

Tides of Blood, Vladimir unleashes a torrent of blood, damaging surrounding enemies. Additionally, multiple Tides of Blood in a short period of time cause them to cost additional health and deal additional damage, and increases his healing and regeneration by 8%.
Vladimir unleashes a torrent of blood, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+0.45) magic damage to nearby enemies.

Each cast gives him an Empowered stack (max 4), increasing his healing and regeneration by 8% each. Additionally, Tides of Blood deals 25% more damage and costs 50% more Health per stack.
Cost
Costs 30/40/50/60/70 Health
Range
350

Sanguine Pool, Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood becoming untargetable for 2 seconds. Additionally, enemies on the pool are slowed and Vladimir siphons life from them.
Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood for 2 seconds, becoming untargetable and slowing enemies above him by 40%.

Vladmir deals 80/135/190/245/300 (+ [15% of bonus Health]) magic damage over the duration and heals himself for 12.5% of that amount.
Cost
Costs 20/20/20/20/20% of Current Health
Range

Hemoplague, Vladimir infects an area with a virulent plague. Affected enemies take increased damage for the duration. Hemoplague deals additional magic damage after a few seconds to infected enemies.
Vladimir infects the target area with a virulent plague, causing 14% increased damage for 5 seconds.

After 5 seconds, infected enemies take 150/250/350 (+0.7) magic damage.

Masteries

For masteries i chose a 9/0/21 build getting health gen, speed increase, exp boost, those are the main things you must get, it helps greatly for solo and bot/top lanes, allowing you to harass and stay in the lane longer.

Runes

For runes i use Greater Marks of Insight (magic pen), Greater Seal of Vitality Greater Seal of Vitality size (HP per lvl) or Greater Seal of Force (AP per lvl), Greater Seal of Focus (cooldown reduction). For marks magic pen is simple pick because vlad uses AP, for seals i roll with Vitality for two reasons, one health with grants you survivability, two vlads passive crimson pact (HP converts into AP, AP converts into HP, does not stack) the HP per lvl gives him more AP per lvl win win. For Quintessences you can go with 2% exp or Flat magic pen it is up to you

Items

Now for items i pick up the AP tome and a health potion first. Why the tome gives you AP and slight health due to Vladimirs passive.

Next i pick up Sorcerer's Shoes because of the obvious magic pen.

After that i pick up Warmog's Armor ASAP, if you are soloing it will give you a great advantage with health but also giving you AP, again Passive.

Next item is Rylai's Crystal Scepter, it gives you more health and AP, now cool thing is the slow works with Tides of Blood, which now damages and slows all targets the spell hits, which is nice.

Next item will take time to get, Rabadon's DeathCap, i usually save for needlessly large rod and then either get blasting wand or just buy the recipe which would cost 2,000 gold with the needlessly large rod. Why this item, simply because it boost you AP like no other, usually after this item the game should be in your favor if not it will help greatly.

I buy Hextech Revolver because the Spell vamp + heal of Transfusion stacks, EX. instead of only 120 health from just transfusion, you will now get 120+40 health from spell vamp. So basicly more health back, plus AP/Spell vamp, I usually then upgrade to Will of the Ancients cause of of AOE AP/Spell Vamp to team, boost the team a bit :)

Last i get Void Staff because of 40% magic pen, and +70 AP it will help if someone has decent magic resist

Skill Sequence

this skill order works for me! i recommended changing this to your liking. However UPGRADE TRANSFUSION WHEN EVER POSSIBLE, transfusion is where most of your damage will come from in my opinion. I alternate between Tides of Blood and Sanguine Pool, though to me Tides of Blood is more useful taking out creep waves early game, Sanguine Pool does good damage late game because of how much health you will have, Sanguine Pool damage is based of health, also is a great getting away tool. Pick up your ultimate Hemoplague when ever it becomes available because it is a great team battle skill when all the enemies and bunched up.

Summoner Spells

Now for summoner spells i pick up ghost and ignite.

Ghost is a good choice because you can chase or get away depending on the situation.

Ignite, for me is good when combined with hemoplague, ignite will keep the health down, or lower the health for when hemoplauge ticks you will get the kill

Flash is another consideration because of its usefulness, you can get away or jump in and start dealing damage

Pros / Cons

Pros:
High Health
High AP
Annoying
Fun to Play

Cons:
kinda slow
burst damage
items hard to get if you die alot....

Creeping / Jungling

FOR THIS GUIDE I SOLO'ed ALL MY GAMES WITH THIS STRAT.

Spam Transfusion on melee creeps, it will help a lot

now when you get Tides of Blood dont be affraid to use it, when you can hit all creeps or melee creeps use it, then Transfusion, it will give you more health back than the skill costs!

sanguine pool i use when there is a giant wave of creeps then quickly use Tides of Blood to finish most of the creeps off

Team Work

For team work, because i was facing a for most of these games ganking was hard to do, due to the fact of if i left the lane they could push hard, that being said, you will need to kill as much creeps as you possibly can, so you can buy the items. I got lucky with a couple of these games and was able to kill the other champion and push and being able to back if i needed to.

Team fights pick on one person till they are dead, usually squishy hero because transfusion will destroy them late game EX. my tranfusion transfusion was doing 700 damage and could three hit teemo at lvl 18. once they are all bunched up use your ultimate Hemoplague they will scatter and then your team should pick up a couple easy kills

Unique Skills

LATE GAME:
having 5k health is great survivability against one on one situations, also 600AP is decent and you will do good burst damage if you single a target out.
