ive recently gotten vlad and i love his life steal and that i dont have to worry about mana and you can just steal life if you get low

i get ability power runes because the more AP you have the more health you get from your Q, Transfusion, and the ap per level runes give more above level 5 but that doesnt matter because vlad doesnt get to op until level 8 or 9 so this wont have an effect.

you want to go in defense to live and stay in lane longer. you want to go down in offense 9 for the magic pen so you hit harder.

you need to get a lot of ap items for extra boost in heal and also you get the revolver for the spell vamp so you can get more heals from your q.

you want to max out Transfusion as fast as you possibly can so you can get health regen so you can stay in lane. Sanguine Pool is good for escaping for example, if ryze traps you you can use it before he gets off all of his spells and you will survive.you need to keep your stacks up on Tides of Blood for extra health steal.and as always get your ult every time you can.

i chose Teleport and Flash because you will die. and its good for a quick travel to a lane that needs help. flash is because you can flash blood pool then transfusion then they are probably dead if you are chasing them.
