How to make nerds rage.
First off we gotta mention the scalings on 
Volibear's Thundering Smash and Frenzied Maul. They do base ad damage (auto attack) + they have a big ad scaling. (Q has 120% on top of base auto attack damage, W has 100% + base auto dmg and a 6% bonus hp scaling). His Ult Stormbringer also has a massive AD scaling. The only reasonable thing to do is build AD and lifesteal. Mythic is your choice between Immortal Shieldbow and Goredrinker.
The main focus of shieldbow is lifesteal, ad, and the lifeline passive, which can be clutch in some situations. Build it if ur ahead.
Build goredrinker when falling behind or even. It's stats give more survivability than shieldbow and overall synergizes better with Voli's kit. The 400 bonus hp gives a big boost to Sky Splitter's shield, and a slight boost to Frenzied Maul's heal.
