Introduction

Even though Volibear just came out, and still OP I do believe this is one of the best off tank build for him. But be sure to careful near ap carries though, BUT if you can survive an AP carry's burst then you will rape the AP carry.

Runes

I use armor pen marks because with the atmas and frozen mallet you will be doing a lot of damage and therefore need the armor pen. However, you could use magic resist marks instead because will only be getting merc treads for MR.

I use hp per level seals to add to base your late game damage and tankiness. Again you can use MR seals instead but I wouldnt suggest it.

I use MR per level glyphs to add to the MR that you will be lacking, and these trade off at level 10 when is when you really start getting the team fights so hence when they are needed.

I use flat hp quints because you need the hp to jungle, and help with damage and tankiness.

Masteries

With the new masteries you can very them so much and still get results, most wont like my mastery choice, but try them out before you judge please.

Items

You need to start with the standard cloth armor and 5 hp pots, I quickly farm up enough for madreds then build into wriggles lantern, and place the ward in the river so that the solo top or solo bot knows when they will be ganked. You then buy level 1 shoes or if you have a kill or 2 buy this point then full merc treads. You then buy warmongs, because you need it farmed up and because it will help your w do more damage. Then you go for frozen mallet because when chase you can catch almost anyone with your q and then your AS from your w will help keep them slowed so that you or a team mate can finish them off. Some will argue that with red buff and your e that is enough I disagree. You then can either get Rylia's Crystal Sceptor or Atma's Impaler (depending on how the game is going if you are getting a lot of kills get atmas, if they are managing to escape get rylias). Then you get the one you didnt buy. Then you sell your wriggles lantern and buy sunfire cape which is standard for those who are good melee chases and stay in fights the entire time. Then naturally buy the elixars.

Many people find it weird to get both frozen mallet and rylias but I like to keep my enemies perma slowed and they both give you plenty of damage.

Skill Sequence

For jungling I have only tried that skill order because of how much damage it gives, and because when you hit level 4 you are almost certain to get a kill for your team if the enemy has burned their flash already.

Summoner Spells

I think flash is a must for every champion for defense it is just needed. And then if you can get away with it you can do ingite instead of smite in the jungle then I stay DO IT!!!! but otherwise you will need smite and it helps with controling dragon and baron.

Some people will say get ghost because it works with your q so well yeah it does but what if you are being ganked and your passive is down, what then? you flash over a wall and you are safe.

Summary

With good teammates that you can talk to and dont feed you should easily have 5+ kills with 3- deaths and a LOT of assists. However, I have found it really easy with him to get 10+ kills and very hard not to steal a team mates kill thinking that they will escape. But with this build you will literally see a ranged ad and laugh at them, some tanks might be tricky to deal with but that is why you have a team behind you.
