This is my first mobafire build. Thanks to all who have made Volibear's build as I have studied em all and come to this conclusion.

I am a Bronze 1 player and I win most of my games with Voli. I called it "the undefeated top laner" because I always (almost) win my lane.

My strategy is quite simple. Play safe. Do not engage when the enemy minions are outnumbering yours, unless the enemy champ is low hp. Try to keep you W active, because if the fight starts, you will have more attacks speed and you can w as the enemy backs away.

I usually try to get lvl 2 before the enemy. Your e is quite usefull because the minions wont attack you. This is when you try to poke the enemy champion. Is he is still lvl 1, just get close to him while farming minions, then E and attack him. He will probably attack you back with all he has but you still have your w active. Wait till the last moment to active it on him, then back away. You should win the trade. Repeat until lvl 6 or so, unless you can go for the kill. Be careful though as you will run out of mana quite fast if you use your abilites so do so at the right time.

Once lvl 6, with ult and your passive ready, that is when you are unkillable. Make sure to keep your q for when he tries to run away - and he will. Just E+R, attack, wait for it, then Q and finish him off with W. You can also start with Q but if you can get close enough i recommend keeping it to make sure to get the kill.

In teamfights, always go for the adc or an assassin or whoever annoyingly deals alot of dmg. With Righteous Glory + Q, and Flash if necessary you will always get to him. Q, then ult, then e, then w as soon as ready. If you kill the strongest enemy and die after, you still won the trade. But usually you will be able to kill 2 or 3 before you die. I play as a kamikazee but it makes my team win. If you saved flash you can always run away after a kill or 2.

As for items, there are only 3 items that you MUST buy. Unless there is no AD or AP enemy champions but that happens 1 in 1000 games.

Againts AD you buy Dead's Man plate. Againts AP you buy Spirit Visage. Your second item is ALWAYS Righteous Glory. Why Righteous Glory? Because it makes you and your team much faster yo get to the back line and it slows them alot when they try to get away. A voli thats not fast enough is a worthless voli. This item will make the enemy fear you even when its not active.
