Well here is my first build on here, and i have been playing LoL for ages so decided after using this site that i would contribute. So here is my build for Rene that i use frequently.

The main aim of this build is pure DPS, the reason i go for slice an dice at start is to get fisrt blood kills on enemy team simply because the items cost a fair bit.

Dorians blade can be sold when going for Blood Thirster.

The reason i chose this build is after a lot of testing this worked best for me, getting me a final score of 27/6/15 to the point where this character was tanking 4 enemies at once in mid to late game.

I like Rene and he works great with Blitz on a 5v5 team, get Blitz to pull then slice and dice.
