Introduction

Hi, i'm Big_Teemo_is_watching_you (username is Alex26000). I will explain you why pick Kog'Maw mid and when pick / don't pick him.

Why Kog'Maw AP?

Kog'Maw is an excellent mid laner as all his spells got AP ratios. He can do, in one combo, at least 200% AP + 6% of target's max health + 50% bonus AD ( with Lich Bane, 1 and 1 .

Pros / cons

Pros :
-can reduce armor and MR by 28%
-great burst
-can deal tons of damage from a safe distance
-useful even focused (with )

Cons :
-no escape
-squishy
-only skill-shots (except )

How to trade and harass

Pre-6, try to avoid trades, as you will probably lose them because you don't have your main spell : . After 6, you can trade and harass. When you harass, try to land your then some and when you have infinite mana, you can do all your spells for a maximum burst.

When pick / don't pick him

Pick Kog'Maw when ennemy laner hasn't stuns and / or dashes because he mustn't be able to dodge your combo and / or prevents you from doing it.
So don't pick him when the ennemy laner has stun and / or dashes.
