If the team havent easy to place cc, dont build mercurial and build the Essence Reaver right after the runaan so u get 30% free cdr
You can also build other boots if their team have annoying cc or slow champs
If their team have lot of armor take Mortal reminder or Lord's dominik's regards, it depend on if you take the frozen mallet or not and if they have high sustain ( like a swain )
Dont forget that the build depend on your playstyle and you need experience to know what's the best think to buy, play the build you prefer
Why i pick Xayah top/mid and not adc
I started playing her toplane and mid, and i do so in ranked, my winrate in those lane were higher than i expected and have been higher than in botlane.
Facing a tank in toplane is easier than I thought.
When you face a midlaner, you can surprise him with your dammage and burst him if he is midlife
Thanks to this I understood that xayah top and mid was good idea
Masteries, runes and sums
For the runes the one I have are pretty good, the blues one can be changed btw
For the summoner spells, in midlane if the matchup is hard for your take the shield, if not prefer the tp or the ignite, in toplane I prefer playing flash tp
Ingame playstyle
-Poke him with q and auto when he want to cs and if he stay stunt him
-if you want to roam fast push your lane thanks to your q, 3 auto and e
-if he is midlife bait him into a full combo
Hard threat :
-Have the better farm you can
-dont overextend or greed, punish him if he dive
-try to not get close to him
Pro and cons
You need to know your champ a little bit, for the matchups and the positionning.
+ Xayah is a really great teamfight champion, maybe not as Velkoz but she can make the difference.
You have survability and if you make your combo on all their team its almost won.
* In lane try to dont be greedy (as me) and be carefull about the gank, the farm are very important.
