Rakan is just a fun champion. He's unique and is always offering a lot to his team. He is viable as an off tank support, and as a full support, but I really prefer the aggressive mage style, because his mobility allows you to outplay people in so many ways, and all of your abilities have an ap ratio that is higher than 50% which is really nice for a support. Yet another reason to play aggressive.

Guinsoo's Rageblade: Honestly Rakan rockem sockems with this item. If you haven't noticed you can't wave clear at all mid-late game with your autos, and your abilities have such a long cool down it becomes near impossible if you are the only hope to clear an incoming horde of lp loss.
