What's up guys! Yuesefu here with another wacky guide on a new champion called Zoe, the Aspect of Twilight! By the way I'm a jungler since Season 5 and now I'm making guides to share my knowledge to everyone! I already made some other guides especially my New Runes Ornn and Kayn guide which is pretty famous in Mobafire! So if you haven't seen them, please check them out for me!

So yeah, now I'm making a guide on a mid-laner called Zoe. Well I played her because her skills are super fun to play with and if you land the combos just right, you can literally one-shot anybody. I was just going through a normal PVP game with my pal Jourzeki (he is my cousin and my duo partner). Then there was this player who chose Zoe when I played Project: Jhin. When I was strolling down mid-lane cause I was roaming, this asleep spell came in and then all of a sudden Zoe showed up and LITERALLY one-shotted me (We still won the game though of course) So I thought of trying a different role than my Marksman-Assassin role. I tried playing Mid and I kinda enjoyed Zoe a lot. The thought of playing with the enemy team being one-shotted then escaping always made me laugh like as loud as a lion's roar. So I tried to study her and now I'm making this guide to show you guys what Zoe is all about.

So since Zoe was released in the Runes Reforged Update, there are many wacky builds that you can try with her. However, the best is Arcane Comet because of her Sleepy Trouble Bubble. This will ensure that Arcane Comet will hit and will make it more easier for her to land her other skillshot Paddle Star!. Next in the line is Manaflow Band, why? Because since Zoe needs to land her skillshots often, she needs a way to refund some mana in lane. This is what Manaflow Band is for, since it also restores a little of your mana you won't have to instantly return back to lane because of mana problems. Next is Transcendence because Zoe needs to land her skillshots every now and then. Transcendence will give you CDR and you need that since mages tend to need CDR and Zoe is also one of them. The last in the Sorcery tree is Scorch, remember that Zoe can poke enemies from afar and this Rune will help Zoe to damage his enemies while chasing or landing skillshots. Also it's a great way of securing a kill when you know that an enemy is low on health. Next, we'll be going in the Inspiration tree, going first for Future's Market. Zoe is a very good mage with high damage and maximizing her damage early on in the game will ensure your victory. With Future's Market, you can buy items without having enough gold because of the debt you can enter. Next up is Cosmic Insight; because again, Zoe needs CDR both in items, spells and skills. This will benefit Zoe a lot in the early - mid game stage.

For Items, I go Doran's Ring at the start because of the AP it gives and the mana restoration it supplies. For the next items I go with Amplifying Tome plus T1 Boots for MS and more AP. I rush Morellonomicon because of the AP, Mana Regen, Mana and CDR it gives and Zoe needs that. The next one is Lich Bane because it also gives you more AP plus more MS and Zoe is a mage that is good at roaming thanks to her Sleepy Trouble Bubble. Void Staff will make you ignore some of the enemy's MR making you more dangerous to them especially the Mid-laner. The last choice is of course Rabadon's Deathcap because it gives you tons of AP and boosts it also by 35% so you'll be a killing machine! Boots choices is Sorcerer's Shoes because of the Magic Pen. it gives or Ionian Boots of Lucidity if you want to land more skillshots in the game early on. The sixth item for me is Luden's Tempest since it gives you more wave clear potential plus it gives you more MS, again a great thing for Zoe. You can upgrade your wards to Farsight Alteration if you want to land more Sleepy Trouble Bubble or Oracle Alteration if they have traps or invisible champions ( Teemo, Shaco, Twitch).

Skill sequence will be pretty standard, you'll max Q Paddle Star! first since it is your main damaging ability. Then the next one will be Sleepy Trouble Bubble because of the new Asleep debuff plus it wll help you land Paddle Star! easier. The third is Spell Thief since you can collect Spell and Item Shards and use it against your enemy, remember that they don't expire so you shouldn't worry about them instantly being gone and timing out. Your ult Portal Jump should be maxed whenever possible since it is your surprise and catching up tool. Try to land your combo Sleepy Trouble Bubble> Portal Jump(back)>[[Paddle Star(back)> Portal Jump(forward)> Paddle Star!(forward) and you'll surprise the enemy with tons of damage. This is because Paddle Star! deals more damage the farther it travels so Portal Jump backwards will ensure that the maximum damage from Paddle Star! is used.

Alright for Zoe we'll take Flash because of her chasing potential and also escaping from certain ganks. Next is Ignite because you want to maximize your damage early on in the game to get fed in the late game. Also let it be a reminder that Zoe can pick up Spell Shards which add to your In-game Spells so you should make the most out of each and every spell shard you collect because they may just save your life.

Zoe Pros and Cons
Pros:
-She has high mobility and roaming potential
-Has high damage and low cooldown spells
-Ultimate Portal Jump lets her increase her Paddle Star! damage which is a great combo
-She maybe one of the most exciting champions to play
-Can have all the Summoner Spells in-game due to her Spell Thief
-Can also collect Item Shards which she can use to support her team or kill enemies
-She has a new debuff called sleep which is really great for ganking (considering making a Zoe Jungle Guide next)

Cons:
-She is really squishy and Portal Jump can't be used to escape
- Paddle Star! relies in distance for more damage and if she doesn't land it right, it'll be useless
- Zoe is fun to play because of her Portal Jump but remember to time it right because one wrong move and you'll give the enemy enough time to burst you down

As Zoe your main goal is to burst down top priority champions (A.K.A the ADC and Mage) in the enemy team to prevent your team from having a bad fight. Also since you can Portal Jump in and then get out of the situation, you should use this at your advantage into baiting the enemy team to your team. You can also use Portal Jump to pick up Spell Shards or Item Shards like Flash, Exhaust or Redemption and many more. Just don't waste it since

Alright I'm a jungle main so I'll try to explain this in much detail in mid-lane as possible. Zoe is a bit different from other mages. Other mages such as Malzahar, Annie, Kenned, etc. Some mages rely on focusing down their foes and then one-shotting them when they are low and 1v1 situations. However, Zoe is like an Assassin mage like LeBlanc or Katarina relying on taking down enemies from afar and surprising them then instantly getting out. Add that up with a new debuff called sleep and you got yourself a highly mobile burst mage capable of taking down even the tankiest foes from afar. Zoe is highly mobile but that doesn't make her invulnerable to ganks. Portal Jump makes you jump to a spot and then back to the other so don't waste it to foes that you know you can't catch up on. You can also Paddle Star! foes from afar and poke them out to make their health low enough for you to burst them down in an instant. But even though you have high damage, remember that you're still squishy and you shouldn't jump in fights quite carelessly. Also, your Spell Thief makes you a really versatile Mage. You can collect spell shards and have almost any spell you want in-game. Just make sure to not waste these shards since they can save you as well. Also, you can collect item shards like Redemption to support your team. You can maybe also collect a Hextech Gunblade to ensure a kill. Just be wise on when to use your shards and when not to use it.

So Zoe is a fun little champion to play in League of Legends. She excels at bursting down foes from afar and going in-and-out of fights to engage. She may be squishy but she can outplay enemy teams due to her 2nd skill Spell Thief is a fun ability that lets you collect these shards that drop in the ground leaving you with extra abilities you can use. Since Zoe is a new champion there are many ways to play and build her. This is just the build that I like the most. By the way her Paddle Star! is a great poking tool when used right. She can deal damage at a distance whilst increasing this damage when it gets farther from the reference point you landed it on first. I hope this guide helped you and also:
