Champion Build Guide

Zed Guide S10+ Mid

By gadddd
Here are some of the things you need to know before you start playing, His ability's, runes and what to build
Zed's Passive Back to Top
Zed's Passive video

CONTEMPT FOR THE WEAK

Whenever Zed auto attacks an enemy below 50% Health, he deals an additional 6 / 8 / 10% of their maximum Health as magic damage (at level 1/7/17). Against monsters, the damage is increased by 100%, but is capped at 200 / 350 / 500 (at level 1/7/17). This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every 10 seconds.
Zed's Q Back to Top
Zed's Q video

Razor Shurikan

Range: 900
Cooldown: 6 Cost: 75 / 70 / 65 / 60 / 55
Active: Zed and his shadows throw their shurikens, dealing 80 / 115 / 150 / 185 / 220 (+1.0 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to all enemies they pass through, reduced to 60% against units beyond the first.

Living Shadow: Additional shurikens striking the same enemy restore energy.
Zed's W Back to Top
Zed's W video

Living Shadow

Range: 700
Cooldown: 22 / 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 Cost: 40 / 35 / 30 / 25 / 20
Zed's shadow dashes forward, remaining in place for 5 seconds. Reactivating this ability will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow.

Zed's shadow will mimic his basic abilities. If both strike the same target Zed regains 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 energy. Energy can only be restored once per mimicked ability.
Zed's E Back to Top
Zed's E video

Shadow Slash

Range: 290
Cooldown: 5 / 4.5 / 4 / 3.5 / 3 Cost: 50
Active: Zed and his shadows create a burst of shadow, dealing 70 / 95 / 120 / 145 / 170 (+0.8 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to nearby enemies.

Zed's slash reduces the cooldown of Living Shadow by 1 second for each enemy struck. His shadows' slashes slow enemies by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% for 1.5 seconds.

Living Shadow: Overlapping Shadow Slashes striking the same enemy deal no additional damage but will incur an increased slow of 30 / 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60% and restore energy.
Zed's Ultimate Back to Top
Zed's Ultimate video

Death Mark

Range: 625
Cooldown: 120 / 90 / 60
Active: Zed becomes untargetable and dashes to target enemy champion. Upon arrival, he marks the target for death and spawns a living shadow at his starting position. This shadow lasts 6 seconds and mimics Zed's abilities. After 0.5 seconds Zed can reactivate Death Mark, causing him to switch positions with this shadow.

After 3 seconds, the mark will detonate, dealing physical damage equal to 100% of Zed's attack damage plus 25 / 40 / 55% of damage dealt of all magic and physical damage dealt to the target by Zed and his shadows while the mark was active.
Tips for his Ability's And Some Combos Back to Top
At first read what all his ability's does so you understand

You are not that a great champ until level 3 where you can make some combos

Before that i wanna talk about his passive when a minion is under 50% hp Zed's autoattacks deals 6%/8%/10% for there's max hp so its easy to farm with him but when you feel it real good you kinda start too last hit minions more early because you are playing Zed normal and not Yasou maybe

But when you hit level 3 you can start to do something
Normal combo-W in a close area of you opponent then E first, And then hit both Q's if you can this activate Electrocute but dont put your W too close to them or else one of the Q's will go behind the enemy and when you got electrocute it does a decent half of they hp bar if they dont play somebody like Ornn and start with 77 armor (with runes) + the combo

Escape combo-W behind you then E and hit both Q, then press W for teleporting back to your shadow which are there for 5 seconds

After you used W you should not push because you dont have a escape route

When you hit level 6 you can get a easy pick here are some combos

Ult your enemy then W behind them, use E, then try to hit all three Q's, ignite and then press R for an escape route

Put an W close to your enemy not too close but okay close, Ult them use E then again try to hit all your Q's, ignite and press R for a escape route

When you get 40% CDR you can use Q 2 Times so thats 6 Q's and use E 3 Times but that doesnt have that big range so maybe you hit 2 or 3 E's

When you use your ultimate just remember you just need to the most damage on them for 3 sec
Speels Back to Top
Flash is the best speel in the game so take that on

Ignite is also good too, to do the last damage after a combo when you didnt get the kill

you can also use ignite when you use your ultimate to get more damage on the Mark

The Mark on your ultimate is the main effect for finishing the enemy so when you add more damage the last thing about your ultimate damage more

Read the ultimate to get more info
Items Back to Top
Buy it this way

Duskblade of Draktharr-Duskblade of Drakharr (60 Attack Damage, 10% CDR, Passive: 21 Lethality, Passive: Nightstalker After being unseen for at least 1 second, your next basic attack against an enemy champion deals 30 − 150 (based on level) bonus on-hit physical damage and after a 0.25-second delay it Slow icon slows them by 99% for 0.5 seconds. The enhanced attack lasts 5 seconds after being seen by an enemy champion)

Its a core item because its deals the most damage with 21 Lethality and with a good passive

Youmuu's Ghostblade-Youmuu's Ghostblade (55 Attack Damage, 10% CDR, Passive: 18 Lethality, Passive: +40 movement speed out-of-combat, Passive Active Gain +20% movement speed and Ghost for 6 seconds) (45 second cooldown)

Youmuu's Ghostblade is good because its gives the same stats as Duskblade but the passive is more for escaping and coming in to a fight

Black Cleaver-Black Cleaver (40 Attack Damage, 20% CDR, 400HP, Passive: Dealing Attack damage physical damage to an enemy champion Cleaves them, Armor penetration icon reducing their Armor icon armor by 4% for 6 seconds, stacking up to 6 times for a maximum of 24%).
Passive RAGE: Dealing physical damage grants Movement speed icon 20 movement speed for 2 seconds. Assists on Cleaved enemy champions or kills on any unit grant 60 movement speed for 2 seconds instead. This movement speed bonus is halved for Ranged role ranged champions)

Its a core item because it will make you a little more non squishi and penetrait more armor with the passive and also gets 20% cdr + 10% from Duskblade and + 10% from Ghostblade so you have 40% CDR which is really good on Zed

The 2 main boots-Mercury's Treads and Ninja Tabi, Buy Mercury's Treads if they have 2 or more AP champ (25 Magic Resistance, 45 Flat movement speed and removes 30% of the Tenacity used on you) (Tenacity is the more you have the less you are stunned, rooted...) Buy Ninja Tabi if they have 3 or more AD champs (20 armor, 45 flat movement speed and and ruduces the basic attacks for 12% of the damage)

And from now on its more depends on what champions you are against but here are 2 options

Lets say you are against 1 or 2 tanks i will say you should buy Lord Dominik's Regards (45 attack damage, 35 armor penetration) but lets say you are against a Munda (not in lane but he is top) you should but Mortal Reminder (45 attack damage, 25 armor penetration and also attacking a enemy does so they dont heal for 5 seconds including lifesteal) but if they dont heal and do have more armor then buy Lord Dominik's Regards

But if they dont have 1 tank you should buy Edge or Night to get more Lethality (Lethality is good when they dont buy armor) if they have 1 tank its also okay to still buy Edge of Night-Edge of Night (55 Attack Damage, 325HP, Passive 10 Lethality, Passive Grants a shield that blocks an ability of any sort also Ultimate's)

And for the last item there are many choices

Maw of Malmortius (50 Attack Damage, 50 Magic Resistance, 10%CDR)

Phantom Dancer (30 Attack Speed, 25 Critical Strike, 5 Movement Speed)

Stormrazor (50 Attack Damage, 25 Critical Strike, 15 Attack Speed)

Blade of the Ruined King (40 Attack Damage, 25 Attack Speed, 12 Lifesteal)

Death's Dance (80 Attack Damage, 10%CDR)

Infinity Edge (80 Attack Damage, 25 Critical Strike)

Ravenous Hydra (80 Attack Damage, 100 Base Health Regen, 18 Lifesteal)

Guardians Engel (40 Attack Damage, 40 Armor

Runes Back to Top
Domination

Electrocute, Good because you use more than 3 attacks in a combo even without R you still get the damage

Sudden Impact, Good because every time you use a dash, blink or teleport or just damaging a champion, you grant 7 Lethality and 6 magic penetration

Then take Adaptive Force
And Adaptive Force
And then Take Armor Or Magic Resistence dependen on who you are against

Eyeball Collection, Good because if you get some kills or assist you get more Attack Damage if you are AD which Zed is or Ability Power if you are a AP Champ, Every takedown gets 1.2 Attack Damage or 2 Ability Power (up to 10 Stacks)

Ultimate Hunter, Good Because Zed needs his Ultimate (lategame) to kill and enemy and this gives 5% CDR to your Ultimate and getting a takedown on each enemy grants 4% up to 25% at 5 stacks

Precision

Precense of Mind, Is good because when you get a takedown you get 10 Energy or 100 Mana at the end you can get 50 Energy on Energy Champions and 500 Mana on Mana Champions

Coup De Grace, Is good when they are under 40% max HP then you deal 8% more damage so its good when you need to finish somebody off

Then you go Adaptive Force, Adaptive Force, Armor or Magic Resistane depending on wh you are against
