Hey guys, Welcome to my first guide for Mobafire. This guide will be based on Zed, The master of shadows. Zed is a strong, burst assassin who excels at quickly downing a squishy target and escaping with ease. Before playing Zed, it's wise to run through his abilities and the many uses for they have. Don't expect to pick up Zed and go 20/0 in the first game you play (If you do, NICE!) as Zed is one of the hardest champions in the League.

My Runes of choice give you a good amount of sustainability early game while still being useful for late game.

Seal of Armor Provides you with good early game defense. Zed's early game is not the best until you get your ult so before you can trade or engage your lane enemy you need to be able to survive his pokes. Even if your mid, their jungler might be AD or when you gank top / bot these will help you.

Glyph of Magic Resist Basically the same as the Armor seals. Seeing as AP carries are squishy they are your second priority target and you need to be able to survive their attempts to get you off.

Mark of Armor Penetration You'll find these marks to be extremely useful throughout the game. These help you quickly burst down an opponent without them even able to respond. Combined with your Black Cleaver that carry with the GA wont stand a chance.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage These quints improve your last hitting and your overall damage. Pretty basic, but useful.

Starting Items

Boots and 3x Health Potion
These are what you should be building 90% of the time. Not only do these items give you more movement speed to dodge skill shots and get CS better, but the health potions give you sustainability.

Cloth Armor and 5x Health Potion
Only take this if you are topping against a Pantheon or maybe a Yorrick. These items are more safe, so only take them against poke opponents.

It's time to ask yourself, CAN you kill your lane opponent?
Dorans Blade This item is if your getting poked down to the point where you cant possibly fight your opponent. If you need that extra health and small life steal, don't be afraid to pick one or maybe two of these up.

The Brutalizer If you are confident you can kill your lane opponent (You ussually can if your mid]] skip the Dorans Blade and grab this beast.
