It is small, but I think it is alright...

I couldn't make any decent sig, so I won't be participating.
anyway,
my comments on each sig:
Sig#1: Whatever you did it looks awesome. I really like the style and the way you made those glasses look is simply amazing. The text blends in sooooooo well. I didn't even notice it at first, it just mixes in with all the pretty colours. I don't know if the bird was there to begin with but it's a nice touch (and funny in a way).
Sig#2: There is no focus. The C4D is filling up the whole image and the picture look like it was blurred which doesn't help the focus tbh. I can see what you tried to do with the text but it simply did not work, and the text did not blend in at all.
Still, I think your biggest problem in the sig was the picture you chose. It's very big and has lots of people in it, without any focal point to begin with. If you take a look at Xiao's and Katoki's sigs you'll notice they have a much smaller image with only one person/face/whatever that can be a focal point. You have 6 equally size girls or boys that fill up the whole signature.
Sig#3: There's something wrong with their elbows.. I think you rendered the original image and then tried to replicate the table. You should have just used the original table as well. The colours are are pleasant to the eye but the focal point is all over the place due to the image being completely filled with 3 girls, leaving almost no space for a background. The text was simply put there with no attempt of blending it in which didn't make it look good at all.
Sig#4: The sig looks simply amazing. The focal point is ridiculously good. I love it how when I look somewhere in the sig I get this urge to just look back at her eyes. I can't look away. It has no text, which is a bit of a turn off for me. I think having a well blended text is one of the most important things in a signature, even though it is hard to do. The little box with her eyes looks good but there's something in the background that looks like a sharpened C4D and I do not like it. The picture is also a bit small, I prefer sigs that have a bigger length, between 400-500 pixels is optimal for me.
With all this said, my vote goes to signature#1

Lol Canoas you don't need text T_T
Gee
Look at most of the pro SotW sigs, no text
look at the sigs that some of the accepted best sig makers make, no text

Sig #1 btw, Canoas basically covered it all :P
and the effect he used was Topaz Clean filter :P

Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!
I think that whether the sig needs text depends on the image.
Some images speak for themselves, and added text actually confuses the focus.
Mine is an example of needing text (even the gibberish Korean). It looked terrible without the text on it, and even with the text I'm beginning to think I should have submitted one of the other two options I made.

Editing photos of people is my favorite thing to do! =D
And the Korean prolly makes no sense, but it looks cool (I used google translate for it).
