WW is not a jungler, he is a counter-pick choice for solo top.
Shen is still viable for solo-top for most players. I know Jvstm goes ape-**** everytime he plays Shen. He wrecks.
And you're right, Ashe has no place in this current meta game. Although, Ashe supporting bot lane is sometimes good though.

Heck, even Nasus can fight.... and Nasus sucks top. (compared to other solo tops)
And Ashe is a REALLY good support if you need to play a aggressive lane.
She is the perfect counter pick if the enemies have a sustain/poke duo in bot, like Cait/Soraka.

A lot of people don't come online much anymore. You can't force them to come and update their guides. If they can't maintain them, they should let their guides become "expired". But some people prefer to bump the freshness of their guides, even if they are really out of date.

Part of the reason those champs were chosen though is because they don't cost very much IP so they are more accessible to new players.
Sure Jebus could change Ashe to Cait/Graves/Vayne/Kog (but oh wait those are all 6300 IP...)

Sivir is 450. Just saying! ^^ Tristana is free since everyone uses Facebook apparently. Warwick could be top replacing Shen maybe. Nasus works too. Rammus is a very easy jungler?: p

Its a nicely written guide and all, but no one plays shen anymore, ashe is outclassed by almost all of the ad carries and WW is also outclassed by the new junglers as he cannot gank as well pre level 6.
