I was checking on the Cloud9 guides and they look so nice and fit. Im in the process of making a guide myself and while im pretty certain how to fill it info-wise, i cant make it look properly. There is always something i dont like. I was wondering is it possible to modify the mobafire template and more speficly the table of contents background and the chapters titles background. Would be nice if we were able to use an image made of our own thats works as a background to the chapter titles. I know there is a way around those things, by merging chapters and making table of content tags and images on your own, but that takes too much time and a lot of testing

As far as I know, there is no way to do this. Cloud 9 guides have special banners that were designed and programmed in especially for them. There's a little extra tool the devs put in for those banners specifically because they're special guest guides and partners of MOBAFire.

As you've said, you can do a lot aesthetically by not using the chapters tool and designing your own chapters using graphics and anchor points, though that all gets a little complicated.

You can also make very nice looking guides without doing any of that. This is a pretty good resource for reference when designing your own guide. It'll teach you a lot about formatting and BBcode that other authors have done some pretty awesome things with.
Thanks to Janitsu for the sig!
